Thanks for the photo! That is a first for me to see a huge headstone/marker like that and nothing inscribed!

I have two Daughters that married a Feagan. I will see if I can find anything. Do you have any idea where he was from?

Debi: Would you like me to add any of the Perham photographs to John Cotton Perham's memorial? Namely, the multi-Perham lot shot photograph on Caroline Perham's memorial, or the lot shot with the purple flowers of John's grave? Or, maybe both? RSVP if so, please. Kind regards, Bridey

Debi, I have just deleted mine, since it is your relative if I understand you correctly.

Dear Debi: You are very welcome. I totally agree with your sentiments of making it easier for families to find their loved ones. It is one of my goals, and the exact reason I always take a lot shot, usually with a large item visible from an aerial view, with plot location and GPS coordinates to accompany photographs I submit to memorials. My hand-held Brunton compass has been my best pal for 40 years! As landmarks change, GPS coordinates (in decimal format, converted from latitude and longitude degrees, minutes and seconds) will stay relatively the same, as long as reference markers are not changed -- and as long as our Earth does not have a magnetic reversal! Thanks for the work you do within Find A Grave. Kind regards, Bridey Light

I'm not related to any of the folks. I'm attempting to add all the folks in the Sunrise Cemetery in Fortuna, CA who are not already found in findagrave. I research using the original records. I photographed all the Sunrise Cemetery records as well and loaded to my computer for easy look-ups. Turned out to be a bigger job than I thought.
If you want go ahead and transfer Alex and I will research as well.
Thanks & take care.

Thank you, very much, I understand that he is in a pauper's grave, no one to place a marker. Your effort is appreciated.

Okay... thanks, Debi. I had a feeling there wouldn't be. At least the family knows where he ended up so if they want to find more info on him they will know where to look.

Thank you for linking him, Debi. He isn't directly related to me but is part of a family I'm tracking down for a friend. So if you would like to transfer him to me that would be great then I can add a bio.
Since there are no other Bruces listed in that cemetery I'm assuming he didn't have a wife buried next to him? It's so hard to find that info if they married after 1940.

Thank you so much for taking the time to create memorials for Samuel and Lydia. Mary (Barringer) Foss is a great, great aunt of mine. My maiden name is Barringer, so I am very attached to this family line and would love to maintain the memorials if you wouldn't mind transferring them. Thank you so very very much.

I appreciate your taking the photo of my grandfather's grave. I live on the East Coast which makes it difficult to get to Arcata!
