If you provide the burial location at the cemetery, I can take your photo.

If you wish to send me an email address...I found a little obit. for the brother of Janet Papp, George Everett Papp, Janet Papp and SSDI for Janet Bolles Papp. Not a great deal of information. You may already have this info. (firstname.lastname@example.org)

He is buried next to his Parents. I will go back and get some grave photos. I didn't see his marker, next to his Mother, because I had to do a lot of cleaning of plants, soil and leaves to find his Father's marker. After I cleaned Janet and George, I had no reason to search around for another Papp! C.J.

My great grandmother was Mary Miller, daughter of Andrew Jackson Miller. You seem to have good intel on Andrew Jackson Miller. From my grandfather, Ray Smith, son of Mary, I have his research on him. I'd be glad to share. Are we related?

I saw your note to D Sullivan and am interested in the connection to Hannah Bates. I have never found substantiated proof that Hinsdale is her father.
Thanks in advance for whatever you can tell me.

|K. Kenyon||RE: Alice Miller Osman|
I fear something bad happened to her. How else does one just disappear? Have you tried researching Eaton or Ionia newspapers? My husband's grandmother is Hilda Osman Kenyon, daughter of Alonzo Osman. I love the show, "Who Do You Think You Are?" I wish I could somehow use their historians. I have exhausted searches on Ancestry.com.

I'm so thrilled to have found your entry. I have been trying (off and on) for 6 years to find out what happened to Alice. I, like you, don't think she just left her children voluntarily. In those days women had no rights to their children or property should a marriage dissolve. I did not know about her parents, nor that she was abused as a child. I would like to work with you to find more info. My husband would really like to be able to find more information for his grandmother before she passes, as she is 91 yrs old; Alice is her grandmother.

I did not post the portrait, and tho I've tried, I can't seem to delete it, or even change the order and add a picture of the Church instead. I'll try again in Oct, when I have a helper. Thank you for your clarification. Pat.

|Sheridan Shields||RE: Vining, Pinney, Skeels|
I am sorry its taken so long to get back to you. Do you want to email me privately (email@example.com)? I will review my Skeels files this week to see what I have to share. I know I have a copy of Emily Faynetti Skeels Brown Ruckman Wood's will, death certificate, marriage license recording (to my ancestors James A. Brown), etc. It appears you have some documents/photos I would be interested in. Thank you.

Hello "H".. I see where you are anonymous for the most part on this website. I was surprised to see my Great Grandmother and Great Grandfather's wedding photo up here. Thankfully I have the same photo of Emma Davis Hathaway and Alpha Beebe Hathaway in my collection. I too, have some other great Victorian photos of my family and written history.. Wondering if and how we're related? Please email me as I would like to discuss our history further.. Thank you and I will look forward to hearing from you. (I tried to send you an email but can only do so on the public message board, here is my "alternative email" for you to send me a message, firstname.lastname@example.org) Hope you hear from you.

I uploaded the pic and also notice that year of birth needs to be checked on Henry Laffer Caples. Stone, bio and year entered on the memorial are all different. Have a great day!

I had taken pictures in Old Vancouver City Cemetery and am working on entering/uploading them. I have one for Henry Rush Caples 1851-1924 and find he already has a pic, but it is for Henry L Caples with very different death date, I believe. The year of death on mine is off a couple years, but it does say Henry Rush Caples on the stone, so I'm not sure what to think. If you'd like me to email the pic to you, send me your email address. Thanks for the reminder. I have linked the parents to daughter Huldah May Vining Skeels as requested. Are you related to this family? If so, perhaps we can exchange information.

|Stephen Altic||RE: Duplicate - Move the photos?|
That's probably OK. But it appears to me the one you want to delete was created by a family member. I had been requested to obtain grave photos for that memorial, so I am a little confused by this. Please let me know more.

Thank you for emailing the names of his parents. I have added it to his memorial. Every bit of information we can all share makes it much nicer for generations to come! Again, thank you for taking the time to write.......

According to my records, this was your second suggestion and this person is not in my personal database, so you will take better care in the future than I will.

Thanks for submitting the photo and for considering sharing of information.

This is for "H" who created the entry for Jeremiah Smith Hathaway of Vancouver. I am working on an article on the US Army Camp Hathaway and there seems to be some confusion about whether the camp was named for Jeremiah Hathaway or another person. If you have more biographical data on Jeremiah, I would appreciate it.

Hi! The dates on the memorial page are wrong. She was born 1836-d. 1857. I also took a pic of the front of the headstone with names if you would like it.

Hi H, Could you please use the edit tab, and the first selection for suggest a correction to ask for the transfers. In doing so it links directly to the memorials you want and provides your member number to make it very easy to tranfer. Otherwise it takes 3 screens, bouncing back & forth, and copy and pasting of numbers. Please don't be offened, I am more than happy to transfer the memorials to you. I took the photos on an outing that the sun was just right to take photos of some of the old stones. Again, I'm more than happy to tranfer them to you... Ben
