Thank you for your SAC for Nancy to link her to her parents. I have added the names of her parents to the memorial.

We have a policy of not linking memorials we control to burial unknown memorials. Should you subsequently find a burial place for the memorial for her parents feel free to resubmit the edit then. Thank you.

Find A Grave Memorial# 94030211
While working on my family tree, I noticed the photo you added to Rameri Lauk's memorial. It's wonderful! I was wondering where you found it, please?

Harriet Tyrrell
Memorial No 145310318

I came across this memorial for Harriet Tyrrell and was curious about a few things. The Tyrrell family lived in Philadelphia and you are on the west coast. So how did you end up creating a memorial for Harriet?

My other question is how did you get those two photos of Harriet? Are you connected to this family?

Harriet was my grandmother's sister and that is why I am asking.

Thanks,
Eileen

Hi Larry,

It's not a sitewide policy, it's just our policy. The burial unknown memorials are getting a bit out of hand, I suspect if Find A Grave knew what a can of worms (proverbially) they were creating by allowing them, they would have never created that option. The problem is that burial unknown memorials are getting created all the time and then the memorials are getting created again when someone finds them in a cemetery, and there's a bit of conflict over which memorial stays and which one goes away.

One of our members wrote an article on it and posted it on his site, it's a bit dry but if you have time to read it you might find it interesting:

Hi Larry,

We have a policy of not linking memorials we control to burial unknown memorials. I will go ahead and make a note of her parents on her bio page.

If you subsequently find a burial place for the memorial for her mother feel free to resubmit the edit then. Thanks!

Can you tell me the location of the Musser burial grounds in Smyth County? Elizabeth Musser Snavely is buried there. Thanks

Thanks for the reply. Nice to meet a relative I didn't know. All the family I know is from around northern Indiana. I am trying to link some of the graves to complete the links. Maybe we can talk again. Love that picture. Maybe I can figure out how to put some more on here. Thanks again.
