Lucy and George Newman
Karen, thank you so much for taking the photos of Lucy and George Newman's graves. Lucy was my great aunt. I have lots of relatives buried in the Virginia/North Carolina area and since I live in Oklahoma, I am always so appreciative of those willing to take photos when I add requests.

I don't think I posted Nellie Blackard. Least, I can't find her.

You have made my day again. Thank you ever so much for Murray T. Washington Handy's headstones. This means a lot to me. I probably would have never seen the burial place of the Handy family, if you had not taken time to take the pictures.

Again, thank you and God Bless.

RE: George Henderson
You are very welcome. It is not a cemetery I go to often and it was very hot that day. I will try to go back and do a better job of cleaning

Hi Karen,
You are very welcome for the picture of the stone, I am sorry I couldn't do more, it was getting very hot and he was last on my list, I was captured by your note on the request.I haven't been there in years myself and have some old friends and family buried there, If I get back I will check on George,

Hi: First, I want to thank you for going to the cemetery to take this picture. I really appreciate. Second, is it possible to take it again minus the shadow? I really could not read it. If you can't, I will understand. Thank you so much.

RE: Charlie H. Dalton
Ok, Andrew Jackson Dalton is my Great Great Grandfahter and maybe I can help. The cemetery you are looking for is on Russell Creek Road, off Salem Hwy. From where you took the photos of the grave yard with the flag which is on 103, also known as Dry Pond rd, go to Salem Hwy and turn right, the next road to the left is Russell Creek Road, go .2 mile and its a private drive on the left. If you go as far as 443 Russell Creek Road, turn around and it will be the next drive on your right.

If I can be of futher help please let me know and thanks for all the work you do.

The cemetery you took photo's of is the Willis Dalton Cemetery and he and his wife are the only burieals that we know of in that cemetery.
