RE: Jackson graves in Dalton Cemetery
It was our pleasure. That cemetery is a jewel. There are illegible markers, but it's well maintained. Copper Ridge and Davidson Road appear to be the same,i.e., the road is dual-marked its whole length. The cemetery is adjacent to USPS address 620 Davidson Ridge Road (!), 37881. There's a long driveway running past the cemetery to the house.

If you take Cedar Springs Road off Hwy 131, then turn right on Copper Ridge Road, that drive will be on the right just past a barn. The Google Map is correct.

I'm sending an email.

RE: Providence Church - Hancock County
The Winsteads let us drive up, but there isn't a road and its a fairly steep climb. You should be OK in an SUV but I'm not sure about a car. The cemetery itself is pretty level though, but be careful of poison ivy and nettles. Good luck!

RE: Providence Church - Hancock County
The Wolfe Cemetery at Providence Church isn't visible from the road; it is on private property that you will need permission to travel across to get to. The land owner is Kermit Winstead. It's been a couple of years since I was there, but I believe his farm is just off either Paw Paw Road or War Creek. We got permission and his wife showed us how to get to the cemetery, which is up on a hillside. Part of the cemetery has been cleaned off pretty good but part of it is still in a thicket of trees and brambles.

I hope this helps. Best of luck in your research.

Carrie Bias Hoffert
Photos at Springhill Cemetery
Thank you for taking the photos of the 3 graves sites in Spring Hill Cemetery in Huntington, Herny T Spicer & his son, Nicholas Spicer and also the headstone Photo of June Iris Bias.

All three were a great assist to me. The 2 spicer Photos allowed me to fix with reasonable accuracy the dates of birth based on ages listed on the headstones.

June Iris Bias, I now know she was married to a Bias male based on she had children and was not likely to have been single.

It is amazing what one can discern from the photos to assist in research. SO, a HUGE THANK YOU for the PHOTOS!
