RE: Tristram Stone or Tristram Story
Deffinitly sounds suspicious but I'm going with what I see on the stone. Not sure where the other person got her info. You can contact her if you wish......Mary Story is also buried there and she has a different stone. There are also Story's buried in Batavia so it is a name from the area.....

Your suggestion:
Died in his 7th year not 77th year, believe him to be grandson of William Beseley & Sarah of Fishkill who died 1830 will probated 19 Dec 1831.

Actually the Dutchess County GenWeb site list it as 72 yrs. I still read it as 77 and the death year is 1832.

Viewing the tombstone photo, death date was 10/12/1826, 17 months old. May I ask source of your death year 1827? In my database, I have father, Edmund, 1785-1827.

Samuel/Phebe Churchill
Please contact the contributor of Samuel's memorial regarding the inaccurate spousal link. Her family link to my memorial created a calculated link on mine and therefore I cannot edit it. I do not add family links unless it states right on the tombstone that the two people are related. Thanks. Samuel's memorial: http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=57900023

Actually the cemetery lisitng on the GenWeb site has the following. d. 1832, Oct. 4, in 72nd y.
However, I read it as 77 so not sure.

Dear Joan,
I have made changes to this memorial and linked it to related memorials. I am unable to removed Frank and Julia, as their memorials are managed by someone else.

I have additional information to share, i.e., a photo of and biographic sketch about Charles H. SEWARD, but no way to send them to you. Please make another correction and include your email address so that I may send that information and supporting documentation to you. I presume you are related.

Hello, Joan!

Since you are kin to Elisha and Mary Benton, I'm transferring them to you,as well as their infant daughter, Mary. She was buried in the family plot of my GG Grand Uncle E.W. Van Duzen, a bell maker from Cincinnati. Mary's sister Anna married Ezra, Jr.

Welcome to Find-A-Grave! Please let me know if I can ever be of assistance!

Best regards,
