I will always be "Daddy's Girl" and so have a soft spot in my heart for all the dads and daughters who are now physically apart. You have been so kind as to leave thoughtful tokens for my loved ones that I wanted to do this for you and your dad.

Shalom

Hi Terry - thank you so much for the flower you left for my great grandmother. The apple was perfect! I'm sure she would love it since she was very proud of her teaching abilities. Phyllis

RE: Etta Kaufman Margolis Finkelstein
Thanks for your reply! I forgot what I wrote in my first email but if your Kaufmans are not Jewish Lithuanians there would be no recent connection. I just have no family connected with my gr grandmother Kaufman, no parents or siblings so I keep trying to connect every chance I get. Kaufman is such a common name I have it in both my family and twice in my husband's family.

You are so very welcome! I too have a daughter who found me in 1993. I am truly blessed.. My son was so excited (age 6), he took her to kindergarten for show and tell. I am honored to have been the one who claimed your request.
Sincerely,
Cheryl

I already thanked her, for you and me. I'm not sure she wants her e-mail made public. I also started a Memorial for Morris, who is buried with Rose and shares her headstone. I assume that they were married. His Memorial # is 105412522.

RE: Freda, Alex, and Hattie Unger
You are very welcome, but actually a lady named Melanie, sent me the pics of Freda, Alex and Hattie., so I could post them. I will try to find the other one today.

I know how it feels to find relatives, especially when they are in a different area. This site is the best, and there are some really nice people on here helping us all.

I sent a reply, but for some reason find-a-grave decided to check it to see if it was offensive. I don't understand. You are very welcome, I enjoy helping people.

Terry,
Thank you so much for leaving tokens for my dad and all his brothers and sisters. How very kind of you and I really appreciate it. I especially love the little one you left for my Uncle Philip; how beautiful and touching...

Thank you again; I hope we find a connection with the Winograd family.

RE: Kay Winograd
Hi Terry,
Unfortunately I don't know who Sam's parents were, so that would be hard to know without more information. I did search the Ancestry database just now and came up with a LOT of Jack Winograds, and one was born in Poland/Russia and lived in NJ as Sam did, but without more information I don't know how to track it. I only have records from when Sam was an adult; he had a wife and 2 kids before marrying my Aunt Kay. If I could find info about him as a child we may be able to link them. If you want to email me at s.leferson@verizon.net maybe we can try to figure it out.

I'm sorry, I don't know him. Have you found out anything yet? I will do a search on Ancestry and see what I can find. I wish you the best in your search.
