|Xonia Edwards Stout||A little help|
Hi, You have taking a photo of my great grandmother Roseta Gooding and her infant child. Can you read what information is on the infant childs tombstone? I know she had 6 children, one dying, but I have no year of birth or death, and the picture isn't very clear, as far as the writing on the stone. Thank you. She is buried at Diehl Cemetery in Woodburn, Allen County, Indiana.

Thank you so much for the above photos. Too bad the stones are worn and unreadable. Thanks again. Linda Brown

Thank you so much for looking for her tombstone. You said you had other Foote pictures. The cemetery shows only four Foote members. The other two that there are no stones for are Eliza Ann 1844-1853 and Squire A. 1855-1879. If you have those, could you add them to the cemetery. Thanks alot for your efforts. LInda Brown

Thanks so much for taking the photos of the Hawk headstones, and for searching the whole cemetery. I really appreciate your hard work.
You mentioned in your caption of the large Hawk headstone that Zackariah is buried nearby. He was a son of Benjamin and Catharine, so even though the other stones were not explicitly marked as Benjamin and Catharine's, it's likely that they are.

You are very welcome. I realized that there aren't many of the headstones that have been photographed so I just went ahead and began taking a lot of pictures. I'll get more posted as time allows.

The names I came up with were from the obituary index - the only names and years that I could get to match up.
SPRINGER John M. 2 NS 08/30/1930
SPRINGER Vera Jane 3 JG 11/14/1927
the only Katherine listed is the one below ~
SPRINGER, Katherine M. 28 NS 04/18/1924.
Anyway, you should be able to get a transfer of these relatives from the person who created the
memorials with no problem.
I am still waiting for the location of your other requests. Steve.

I am getting more information on them from the woman who is in charge of the cemetery. She will give me the location of the other`s you requested pictures for as well. I found the unknowns ( is it John and Vera ? ~ only dates I could find that matched up to the names ) on my own.
I also found Rudolph and Louise~1956 Springer; but no Adolph and Louise~1954 as of yet. Steve

Thanks for the photo. This confirms for me some info on James B Garton's death. I found a small article in the Ft Wayne Journal for a J B Garton who died at Harlan in Dec 1903. It must be the same person. Mary C and James wee married and she didn't die til 1925.
