Sure, I like your work. I am a historian by training and self-made genealogist. I like to find images and put them to people. Usually, I scour State Digital Archives. FindaGrave is just one of the places I share the ones -out- of copyright to. My passion is working on military profiles, especially those who died at Pearl Harbor. But here is one you will like especially:

RE: Pictures...
Sorry, I thought the rule was to credit a primary source and not a secondary one.

The Union County Cemeteries Association is working to post photographs of Civil War soliders buried in Union Co., Tn, to the Union Co. Cemeteries Association website, in the Civil War section. We are currently looking for pictures of the soldiers in Carr Cemetery in Union Co., and we found your picture of Coram Acuff. We would like to post your photograph from Find a Grave. I read on Find a Grave where you generously gave permission for individuals to use your photos, and wanted you to know how UCCA plans to use yours. Please know full credit will be given to Andy Osterdahl. While this is not for anyone's personal use, it is very important to the UCCA community.

We would also like to use this CW soldier photo on our Facebook page. Again you will be given full credit on both sites for your photos. It is not our intention to publish this photo in any way. We know that you have done much to preserve both history and heritage on Find a Grave. We hope that you will share this photo with us.

RE: Morvalden Angerstoff Taylor

I do not have great pictures of Morvalden. I have group pictures of him, but no portraits. I can email my cousin and see what he has, as my aunt did lots of work on preserving family history.

RE: Delmora Mercer Douthett
Thanks so much for the helpful information. I was able to read the bio in the blue book. It certainly ties him to Butler Co. PA and his 2nd wife Nancy E Wilson Douthett who was also from that area. There's never been any mention of his having been a state Senator.
It's interesting that the date he came to Nebraska is his death date for several family trees.
Certainly his unusual name-a family name I believe-(that was a typo on my part, I know the correct spelling)would indicate it was the same man that married Julie Ann. There's actually a Butler Co. obit for a Delorma Mercer Douthett, who died in 2008. I'm ordering other obits from the library, perhaps I'll order that one as well to see if there's anything mentioned about the name.
by the way, I think you have a very interesting hobby.
Thanks again for the help,
Cathy Lindeman

Delmora Mercer Douthett
I've been researching this man and there seems to be conflicting death dates and bio inforamtion for the same man on family trees. I'm trying to sort it out. Some have him married to Julie Ann Davis and dying in 1886 and some have him married to her and then married to Nancy E Watson and dying in Nebraska in 1933.
There is evidence to support both marriages, but it's unclear if it's the same Delmora Mercer Douthett as Julie Ann always claimed on census data she was a widow and he claimed on census data he had only been married once.
I was curious about the source for your picture and if you had additional bio info especially about his life between 1880 and 1900. I can find no information on either of them for that time period.
Thanks for your help.

RE: Walkerman Dugan
Thanks Andy.

I just saw it as I was adding in their other children. I took a trip to St. Bonaventure and have to go through my pics but I do believe I have Walkerman's headstone. When I find it, I will add it to the memorial.
