Hi Toni,

You're welcome! I put the picture in on the other memorial. You are more than welcome to use the photo and you don't have to give me credit for it.

Oh my gosh, thank you SO much for taking the photo's! Such nice clear pictures! Samuel's headstone is almost like his older brother, George's (my great, great grandfather). He was also in the Civil War.

Any way, I want you to know I sincerely appreciate you taking the time to go find his grave and get pictures. Otherwise, I'd probably never have seen it. It helps to close Samuel's chapter in my family genealogy.

With Thanks,

RE: Orinda
Thank you so much! I'm relatively new to researching my geneology, I've done most of it on ancestry, and wasn't aware of microfilms. I'm assuming the "she" that was 22, was Orinda Minerva since Orinda Dewey Youngs was still in the census records past the age of 22. I have not found death info for either mother nor daughter, so thank you for your time. It's extremely appreciated!

Thanks for the hard work on Orinda Dewey. I'm researching my genealogy and know the effort it takes. Orinda's daughter Orinda, born in 1822, was married to Captain John Youngs and I was wondering if there's any way to update the information. I also have been unable to find information on her death, but my hunch is that she past between the years of 1860 and 1869. Captain Youngs was remarried in the 1870 cencus. And now I'm rambling on....sorry. Anyways, thank you very much!

Thanks very much for this photo. I'm finding lots of graves of veterans who were relatives, and slowly getting them entered. Amazing how many died without close kin.
