I meant to mention that I assume we are cousins of some sort by the names you have mentioned in your bio. Would like to compare our lines and figure out how we are related :)

George Washington Robinett
I see that you maintain his memorial and am wondering if you know much about him and his children? I have been trying to confirm that he is indeed the father of my ancestor. I have seen many trees online that claim she is his daughter but census records may not reflect that to be true. Thank you for any help you can provide.

Jim Crismon Cemetery, Maries Co, MO
Hi Becky: Actually I just used all purpose flour. I had heard that shaving cream sometimes damage the stone. Its a bit rough on the hands to get flour into all the crevices, but if over floured, I just use a cloth or brush. I used the same technique at the Fairview Cemetery in Maries Co; Flour is very good on old almost black stones. Its a slow process but usually pays off to be able to read the writing on the stone. The rain will always wash away the flour with no damage done. A lot of damage had been done to this small cemetery; I sincerely hope some of the relatives can at least get some concrete and repair some of the damage. Beautiful stones.

The name change has been made. Do you know which spelling is correct? I have found it spelled both way.

Regarding Sarah and Joshua Cochran
I think I may have found a son that isn't listed. In Solomon Cochran's obituary it's mentioned that he was survived by a brother, W.G. Cochran in Oklahoma.

There's a William Grant Cochran (Find A Grave Memorial# 14235162) buried in Mount Union. I asked mom about him and she didn't know who he was.

There's nothing on his page, but on his wife's page it's mentioned that she lived in Miami, Oklahoma, leading me to believe that he's the W.G. Cochran mentioned in Solomon's obituary.

Rodden Memorials

Thanks so much for the beautiful photographs of the two Rodden markers.

I see from your bio that you are researching the Rodden and Robinett families. My mother was a Rodden and I found through my research that a Rodden married a Robinett.

RE: Warren and Gay (Elston) Lukens
Becky - I thought the one for Maude looked pretty good. Good job!
I just requested about anyone that had the last name of Elston in the cemetery, but reached my limit and couldn't submit Seniga Elston - 1833-1834. Might be difficult.

Thanks for your help. My son-in-law is related to the family through Helen Mariah (Moore) Elston. I posted a picture for her on Find A Grave.
