RE: Cynthia Ann Eoff Geer
Well, from what you said it appears you are not aware of Find A Grave's new edit system. It was implemented last Fall and there are still an awful lot of people who don't know about it. It is like top secret information. They did not tell anyone they did it. They left it up to people to figure it out for themselves! It was that was behind this after they bought Find A Grave last year. A move to make Find A Grave work better.
You need to get onto your profile page first. Under where it says your name at the top of the page are some edit tabs, right? The one in the middle is called "Edit". That is your edit tab you need to click on to see if anyone has sent you any edits that need to be taken care of. You can either accept that the edit is valid information, or, if you feel the person has sent you information that is not right, you can decline the edit.
Down at the bottom of that Edit window that opens up where you find any edits sent to you there is a button called "Process selected edits". When you click on that button all the edits in your edit window all get taken care of like magic! I call that button the "magic button".
So, you do not need to add all the info from an edit to each page one detail at a time, all you need do is just push the "magic button" and everything is done automatically by Find A Grave's new edit system!
Now for the good news. As you said, the way it used to be, is when you sent someone an edit and they don't care anymore or have died or who knows what other reason an edit does not get done, you would have to wait 30 days and then if the edit was not get done you could then contact Find A Grave staff to take care of the edit(s). Find A Grave staff was so backlogged that it would take them months to respond.
This new edit system they have is set up so if a "contributor" does not take care of an edit after three weeks, the edits are then just automatically taken care of by Find A Grave's new system! No more waiting forever and a day. All you need do now is wait three weeks. This works on almost everything except for transfers. That is one thing that is not done automatically. After three weeks, which your three weeks are almost up I think, you should see the edits you sent about Anna all taken care of except for a transfer. At that time you should contact Find A Grave staff and explain that someone is not responding and you need Anna's page transferred to you and they will do it.
Do you have Find A Grave's email address?

It is=

RE: Cynthia Ann Eoff Geer
The person who made Anna Trenschel's page has not done a thing the last couple weeks. Maybe they are gone on vacation of something?
I don't know if you noticed I added a new picture of Anna's gravestone to her page. The one that was on there was not real good. I have some pics of the area I could email you if you are interested. I went over there and found her grave and cleaned it up.

Cynthia Ann Eoff Geer
Thanks for your message on Cynthia. This is really amazing. Thanks for letting me know about this. I have done a bunch of research on the Geer tree on and off over the years. They are not blood related, just a branch off of a branch off of a branch, etc. etc. :-]
It is really nice to finally know where she went to.
I will take care of all this and get all the edits sent out to get her Trenschel page all updated and when I get all that straightened out, as much as I hate to do it, I will get rid of the page I made.
I am very busy today and I want to study this a bit before I starting chopping away on it.
I have access to the CA death index and Cynthia is not in it. 1909 is awful early and it would be no surprise at all if she were missed in the CA death index. It is possible too her name was spelled so far off that I am not seeing it. It is not under anything starting with Trens.
I gotta' run,

Hi, are you related to Lucinda? Will gladly transfer if you are.

I am curious as to where you found the additional information for her?

I took a photo of every stone in the cemetery, unfortunately there are quite a few steel crosses with no names. Quite sad that there is no name attached so that someone could find their family.

I did not see a stone for Henrietta. Sorry.

RE: John B Marshall Photo

I'm very fortunate that Karen, my wife, was helping me with this assignment yesterday; she was the one who found it.

We are both glad that we could be of service.

Take care and have a super day.

Sorry for the delay, I just noticed your earlier request.
There is a Myrtle Julette Lane interred in Row 23a. She died 25 Dec 01 and was listed as a child. There is no marker.
There are 11 Lane's interred at Blue Lake. If I can be of further help please let me know.

Don Wasley
Find-A-Grave photo request for Sarah Pendery
Hi Amoreeena,

My name is Don and I'm a Find A Grave member living in Leadville, Colorado. There's about 5 feet of snow in the Evergreen Cemetery so it may be a little while before I can go out and find her plot and take photos. Please be patient. Living at 10,300 ft elevation has it's challenges and snow is one very big one. We're expecting more snow in tomorrows' forecast on top of record snows that hit Colorado this winter. I or someone else [I ran into another Find A Grave member at the library today, Janice Fox, who lives here too] will submit the requested photographs ASAP, weather permitting.

Don Proctor
Olive Portman Proctor
Sorry Amoreeena, I didn't check the link you had to My G Grandmother and I thought you were asking for Olive Proctor Norcross. Elijah and Olive do not currently have a stone for their resting place. At the Proctor reunion in 2011 we discussed procuring them, but to date have not done so. If you email me at we can discuss further.

The children have to be connected from the childrens page, I am not the one who put them on. Please contact the person that put them online.

You will have to contact the creator of Hiram Loucks page to get him linked his father. On FindAGrave, 'children' can be linked to 'parent,' but not the reverse.

you sent a couple of linking requests. I cannot link someone to their brother - they need to be linked via their parents memorial.
Solomon Mumford Martin Find A Grave# 60708179 - father of Mary Martin Cowles, this isn't the correct memorial for him - it is the memorial # for the daughter.

Kelly Rigsby grave
I need to know if the information listed for Kelly Rigsby, specifically his parents info and service in the civil war, are found on his gravestone, or by compiled research about him. Do you have readable photographs of all the information found at the gravesite?

Hi Amoreeena,

I've added links in the bio to all the brother and sisters for the ones that you provided numbers for and listed all the rest on the page. Parents are now also linked. I appreciate you sending all that. Would you like to have me transfer this to you? If so, let me know.
Best regards,

Thank you Amoreeena for the correct link you sent. I don't know why I had the information placed on the page that I did. I removed it. I guess I need to stop "burying" people late at night!!
Best regards,

There is also a main Preston family stone and well as the individual stones. I took that also but my pickup was in the photo. Would be happy to shoot that again if you would like.
