Yes, that was my mother. She passed in 1966. I remember your mother had a very purple and white bedroom.

Irene was a home care nurse for my mother. My mother had MS. I stayed overnight a few times at your house. I remember having pancakes in the morning that were shaped like circus animals.

Mark,

Great job on finding and recording these beautiful old Memorial Stones. This is what binds us all together in this great country of Our's! I would like to add this to my family tree on ancestry.com? Is that ok with you? They are starting to pull together these web sites but some people feel the photos they take belong in a copyright to them! So be it! I just feel its a tribute and acknowledgement to their life that belongs to everyone and esp. to family that attaches to them.
Advise when possible. Thanks Mark

RE: Eleanor Stevens #89226145 photo request
Mark-

I have transfered the management of the memorial to a family member. Since photos were posted, I canceled the photo requests. There are over 11,000 memorials for that cemetery and I'm sure most don't have photos. Since you are so close you could just start taking photos and upload to the proper memorial. After all, unless they are family, most photos are "volunteer photos".

Have fun with this site =]

Hi- I noticed you claimed my requests for headstone photos from Escondido. When I visited the memorial and saw photos uploaded, I just thought they came from "the one" who had claimed them. Then I realized I hadn't received a photo success email. The photos were posted by a brand new member. But I I wanted to thank you for volunteering to take the photos, it means a lot.

Thanks again

Linda
