Emlis Tanner
I searched every stone or marker in this Nickel Ridge Cemetery in Panther, Daviess, KY on May 7th, 2014, and there is no stone for Emlis Tanner there. In fact, I found only one stone with the surname Tanner. --C. Sheperd

Hi Diane,

Thanks for bringing that to my attention, I have corrected it. Have a beautiful day!

RE: Oran tangent
I don't mind transferring. I'm not related nor did I know any of them -- I prefer the memorials I create to be with family (no matter how distant) or friends/acquaintances. I only created them because I was fulfilling a photo request for another person and went ahead and photographed the surrounding area.

If you see any others of mine that you want, let me know...I mostly photograph in Posey and Vanderburgh Counties, so those are where the majority of my non-related memorials are located. I'll transfer anybody not related to me...and those I'll fight ya for. ;)

Oran tangent
Noticed Ruth's maiden name. I added a memorial for a Bessie May (Orum) Broshears last week. When I was trying to find her parents, I kept coming across Oran instead of Orum. Are the families connected? Her parents were Richard Thomas Orum and Drusie Ellen Weedman (also created their memorials -- all at Oak Hill).

Saw a few of your flower posts. If you are related, you can request a transfer to you. Find A Grave requires that the creator transfer to you if the memorial is your parent, grandparent, g-grandparent, sibling, child, grandchild, or g-grandchild -- unless the current manager is also one of those.

Click on the EDIT button at the top right of the memorial you wish to request. Then click on SUGGEST A CORRECTION. Write your note in the big box -- don't forget to include your relationship (and some people want your member # - the number at the top of the page you are reading this on) -- also put a check in the CC box so that you can forward a copy to the admins in 30 days if the request is ignored or denied.

Some people will transfer anybody they're not related to, so long as you tell them how you're related.

If you have any questions, you can message me back (I usually only check my messages every couple weeks though).
