RE: Josiah Leedy
You are welcome, I was on here and own those books so can look them up. Do not think that Kate was not one of two children. Because they have her name listed. Many families had children that others do not know of or list. Somehow the info does not get handed down. My husbands family one good example that reminds me all the time of that little detail....his Aunt, his mothers sister she and her huaband had an adopted child, and it was from one of the family that gave the couple the child to adopt. But it seems it was a big hush hush that his Aunt had a baby and it was a miscarry or premie, and she could not have children. That was one I hit on by mistake on some record keeping for the not known things....and boy the family was not pleasant about the detail being dug up....and sometimes it is not a hiding of info. Just means over time not noted in family records by bible, etc. or even orally and if oral it was just dropped off and not any one was the wiser.

Two Infant Leedy children Maple Park Cemetery
I am only sure of the writing on the page that I took the information from. I have placed it on each persons memorial that I control in that lot.

Many women got separated from husbands due to moving with children and other reasons as you know. But do not discount him having been in the Campbell Street Cemetery. Oddly not all folks got moved or accounted for. The records of the time a bit sketchy if you have had to look and call any cemetery offices for those that died in earlier times and before it was expected of a person to have the correct name spelling not just a good guess....well researchers know this will not bore you with any more.

this on the site for each one:

This information comes from Greene County Missouri Cemeteries - Volume X Maple Park Cemetery Page 126, by Ozarks Genealogical Society.

William Sharp
I have searched for his grave. The cemetery records show his burial was in plot 4286. I have photographed the stone and plot number. Unfortunately William's name does not on appear on the stone. Other names on the stone include Arthur and Mary Sharp (parents?)William Sharp that died in 1973. Other names listed are Arthur, Marguerite, Elizabeth, and Charles. Please let me know if you would like me to upload the photos I have taken.

James and Elizabeth Perkins
Jacki,

Thank you for the re-interment information about James (#128234003) and Elizabeth (Peck) Perkins.

It was very generous of you to share this information with me. I have just been working on Elizabeth's Peck ancestors so this is timely.

I appreciate all the work you do and I am inspired by your own FindAGrave biography. I hope to follow your example in approaching this sharing community.

All the best,
Jim

I believe that the photo on the top was the backside or one of the sides of the photo on the bottom. That's why I included the bottom photo, so people could find it. -Margo-

PS Sorry to be so long getting back to you. I've been traveling this month nearly continuously.

Could you please provide some source documentation for your requested edits for Rhoda A. Smith [Find A Grave Memorial# 119480977] citing her maiden name as Buckminster, father as William Buckminster? Thanks so much!

Thank you for sending the info on William Channing Appleton # 158647861
Now, if only I can find the info to his and his wife Edna Marion Turner's son William Channing Appleton Jr., I can add Jr. to Find A Grave. So far no luck. There are so many Appletons in this family, but for some reason it seems difficult to find his death info so I can include him,
Thanks again for the great research!

Hi Jackie;

I just wanted to add some information on Elizabeth (Lizzie) McHenry Gardner, wife of James Gardner. Lizzie was the daughter of Thomas McHenry and Mary Ann Bill, and was born in December 1856 in Nictaux, Nova Scotia, though she did later live in Saint John, New Brunswick. She married James Gardner on 24 November 1887 in Boston Highlands, Ma. and died 7 November 1896 of disease of the heart and a cerebral embolism. Lizzie was my great grandmothers sister.

Thanks so much for all your great work in recording tombstones.

POWELL FAMILY
Re: Medway Christian Church Cemetery

Thanks for making all of the edits I have been suggesting so quickly! As I am working on my tree documenting the relationships I am trying to link all of the family members to the correct generations/parents I appreciate you getting to it so fast!!!
My mother-in-law was a Powell descendant and she just passed last year I am honored to be able to leave a legacy to her ancestors by joining them all on FindAGrave
If you ever find you'd like to transfer their management I'd be honored to take it over!

Holliston
Hi Jacki, As you can probably see I am going thru Holliston Vital Records right now. I know you have a bunch of memorials in those cemeteries. Do you want me to send the sources for any updates I send? I will not update anything unless I find a source. I am fine with sending anything I come across if you prefer me to. Or I can just send when I come across weird/conflicting information. (like with the missing childrens names) Denise.

Hi, Jacki,

It's a family tomb and the records I came across, which I don't have access to right now, indicated that several Appletons and their family members are also interred in the tomb. Sorry, I don't have the original photos anymore.

Sylvester Center
You recently sent me an edit for my memorial for Sylvester Center, 130528769. You told me his birth date was 1806 and birth place Woburn MA. Can you let me know how you found that? I would like some record to support the change as I have been unable to find anything in our Town Reports (Wilton NH) that note that detail.

Thank you!
