Hi! I did re-check and thanks for asking! Annie A Liddiard was born in England Nov. 1, 1864
She arrived on the ship Nevada to New York on 21 May 1874, She was 9 yrs old.

Hi Neil,
Yes, that is her son. She is listed as living in his household on the 1940 census in Madera, CA. I thought her husband would be buried next to her but I found him back in Illinois buried in Jackson County, which is a mystery.

Thanks for your e-mail w hich was very welcome and helpful. I called and talked to Cecilia last night and tried to explain to her what Find A Grave is about, etc. She was real nice and listened politely, but did not give me a direct answer. She said she would talk to her mother, who was coming to supper last night. I gave her my telephone number and e-mail address, but haven't heard from her yet. I think she wants to register and look around on Find A Grave, before she makes a decision. I will certainly keep you posted.
