I want to thank you one million times for finding my great grandparents graves! William Henry Johnson and Ariadne Rebecca Susan Hardiman Johnson. They are my mothers mothers parents. I'm sorry I have no photos of them to put up. Finding out about my great grandfather was hard not much information was found. When you found his grave you helped out a lot. Now I know they are not lost anymore. My mom was so happy as well to see this. Again many thanks and blessings to you and your family!

Nope, don't change anything about the name yet until I can discover more info about it. You wouldn't have to change the name anyway ... only add additional comments in the description.
I'm going to make some phone calls to Funeral Homes in the area to see whether any one of them knows about this particular burial ground.
I'll tell you what I've "assumed" might have occurred. This "might" have belonged to Clark Chapel Church, which "might" have been abandoned and "possibly" torn down, thereby the Cemetery may have been 'abandoned.' I figure I'll contact the city or county gov't in hopes of determining who owns the land, or the burial ground itself.
I'll let you know if I discover anything useful. Thanks for posting this cemetery! :-)
Blessings, Sandi :-)

Hi Rich...sorry to keep bugging you through here. I have literally thousands more pictures from the various graveyards here in Lynchburg as well as others. Finding the time to sort through them has escaped me, but am constantly working on it. I will send you emails with a list of the ones that I post to your memorials and stop bugging you through here.
