|Peter Noveskey||Noveskey and Nowicki|
Hope all is well with you. Wanted to let you know I took the Ancestry DNA test and I had 2 matches with ancestors of the Nowicki/Nowiski families of Huron Co Michigan. They migrated from Poland about 1853. Thought it might be interesting to see if you have anyone in your family that took the Ancestry DNA test to see if I match with them. I am really happy to have made that connection with the Nowicki's, maybe I can connect with your family.

|Scott McKinzie||RE: George Noveski photo @ St Mary's|
I just returned from St. Mary's and looked at that section. Unfortunately, there is no marker for George. There are many missing and damaged markers, and the cemetery has deteriorated over the years. I was able to note that there are many infants buried in that area, a quiet corner of the cemetery near a ridge. I posted a photo on his page.
Take good care,

Dave, when I get some time I'll try the library for an obit for Katherine. Other than that, I have no clue. The sexton for Belden has my phone number and the information just in case he comes across any other information.

In looking up the plot location for your photo request for Marian Noveski, I found another Noveski buried at Calvary. I don't know if this of interest to you, but I did photo his marker and created a memorial page for Bernard. Please see #152562662. He is buried two rows from Marian.

Who ever did the marker put the interment date instead of death date. She did die on the 18th. Source: Cleveland Press, Reel #127. Her obituary.

Hello Dave. Very sorry to have been neglecting your messages regarding additional information for the Noveske family. I had gotten burned out working on my family tree and needed a leave of absence to clear my head. I have accepted all your additions to the records and will take the information and update my Ancestry.com tree....thank you for that. I am related to the Balbach's on my mothers side. Martin Balbach was my mom's great uncle and she has found memories of the Balbach family growing up. If I can be of any help with filling in any info you may need, I'd be happy to help you. I also hope it will be alright if I contact you for any information you may have that can help me as soon as I start getting back in the grove of things. Thanks. Diane Secrest

|Linda ||RE: Margaret Lyons Balbach (1852 - 1891)|
As you can see there still is no inscribed death date for Lillian M. Balbach. My questions: Is Lillian M. Balbach the wife of OR sister of Maartin Balbach?
Margaret Balbach, according to the cemetery records is buried in the same location as Martin J., but her obituary lists Martin as her brother.
I did create a memorial for Margaret Balbach using the obituary as a photo.

|Linda ||Margaret Balbach|
St. Mary has a burial for Margaret Balbach who died in 1931 and is buried in the same location as Martin. I found an obit for "Miss Margaret Balbach" whose brother was Martin from Buffalo, NY. who died Jan 19,1931 and Mrs. Joesph Noveske and others from Elyria,services at St. Agnes Church Elyria & that was buried in St. Mary's cemetery.
Martin's headstone list him with "Lillian M. 1895-19__. There is a memorial linked from Martin to her.
I did not see a headstone for Margaret Balbach 1852-1891, nor does the cemetery have a record for such a person.

Forgot to tell you that I found a Florence Paul, born 17 Jan 1911 OH and died Dec 1973 in Hastings, Barry, MI.
From several obits, it lists daughter or sister as Mrs. Andrew/Andy (Florence) Paul in S. Haven, MI.
This could be your Florence Basinski who married in Cuyahoga Co., OH 1946-48 time frame.
I also found Andrew J. Paul 10 May 1917 PA-26 MAy 1974 Hastings, Barry, MI

|Linda ||Basinski Family|
Mary's death certificate lists place of burial in "Elyria, OH".
The obits for her, Cecelia Mausser & John all list "St. Mary & St, Mary Church". Bittner aka Bittner De Carlo Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
I Believe they are buried in St. Mary in ELyria. That is where I posted memorials for Chester, John & Cecelia.
If you call St. Mary Cemetery (Calvary Cem. 233-5117 then #6 to confirm their burial and get locations, I'll get photos.
