RE: Help
Congratulations Megan! I have appreciated what you have done and understand what it feels like to claim a photo request only to "not fulfill" the request. Don't worry, there are other people in Holland, or my wife just said, "We can take a day and drive down to Holland to take the pictures [we are teachers and are on the 2nd day of vacation]". Thanks again!

Help
Sonia,
Recently several of my photo requests for Pilgrim Home Cemetery became available again...so I wondered if, since you're going the Pilgrim Home for other tombstone photo requests, if you might like to take care of a few others [check the Pilgrim Home Cemetery site and look for open photo requests]. Thanks!

request
Sonia,
Would you please post the tombstone photo of Henrietta Fiedler to John Fiedler also. He is in Pilgrim Home Cemetery with memorial number 49810549
Thanks you Sonia...this way you still get credit for your photo [instead of me posting it from my computer].

RE: Wow!
Since I messaged you earlier, another grave finder shared with me that her husband uses Cold Water Tide and cold water. I'm going to try it...thought I'd pass it along to you.

Would the Albert Kleis Jr. have the following dates? 1918-2010?
Curious,

RE: Wow!
Sonia,
I recently got a bucket with some supplies that I keep in the back of our van. I have a bucket, squirt bottle, small handheld brush [not wire], gloves, toothbrush, rag and a spade. The handheld brush and the water bottle do the basic bird droppings, but it takes some good scrubbing to get the hardened discolored moss growing on some stones. I hope this isn't too much rambling... :) Let me know if I can help in any other way. I'll get back to you on the other Kleis stones that you mentioned.
Thanks,
Scott

Photo of Robert Monetza's Grave
Dear Sonia,

Thanks so much for the very nice photo of Mr. Monetza's grave. I never met the man but he was my sister's father-in-law. I believe his life is worth a photo on Find-A-Grave. Thanks again,

Chris

Wild Goose Chase
Sonia,
So sorry for the "wild goose chase" that you went on looking for the VandenBerg in the East Saugutuck Cemetery. I'll look into the whereabouts of the records of that cemetery. Someone ought to have them. Thanks again.

Wow!
Sonia,
Kudos to you for all you did today! Kleis, Schuiling [including baby Donald], and Bussies stones are all so outstanding! I am extremely appreciative of your effort. Glad to know that someone is in the Holland area who cares to make the stones look so beautiful photographically. [I think I just made up a new word :)]

connection found
Sonia,
I found the connection for Elizabeth into the VanAppledorn genealogy. Someone else has claimed the memorial photo for her husband, John VanAppledorn. Thanks for posting her photo.

Elizabeth VanAppledorn
Sonia,
I wondered if you know who Elizabeth's husband was? Was there any other graves near hers. I'm not finding her in my genealogy as I don't know which maiden name to look under. But, if there was a "father" buried next to Elizabeth ["mother"] that would help me out very much. Thanks

RE: more info. please
This was most helpful. I never had that child listed before in the family of John VanAppeldoorn. Your time was not wasted :)
Thanks again,

so sorry
Sonia,
So sorry about the photo problem. Apparently one person claimed the husband and you claimed the wife and he loaded up pictures to both memorials. I'm sorry and will know to check into it more closely in the future.
Thanks again for posting them. You did a great job!

more info. please
Sonia,
Thank you so much for the picture of the child tombstone for Jaantje 1880-1881, unfortunately, I'm unsure of which family she belongs to. You also took a picture of Mrs. John Van Appeldoorn and a picture of Elizabeth VanAppeldoorn. Was this child from on of their family plots? Thanks so much.

RE: Mrs. J Vanappledorn
Oh, sorry! I was taking photos of other Van Appledorns and was asked to get photos of all Van Appledorns in the area. I didn't realize there was a photo request for this. I can withdraw the image and contact the person who requested it so we can start from scratch and you can fill the new request.
