May I use your photo of Wm. Blanton's tombstone in my personal Legacy software?
Thank you so much for adding it.
Wm. was my husband's direct line ancestor.

RE: Nancy Reavis Gordon
It was not easy, but being next to her husband and having it marked on the cemetery plot helped. I hope you have a Happy New Year!

Terry (Todd) Ferl
Todd Cemetery, Hill Creek
Hello Wayne,

I created a cemetery called Todd Cemetery, and then created 4 memorials for the cemetery with gravestone photos that I found on the online Cannon County Cemetery Project. Now I think maybe you took those photos? You wrote 3 years ago (July 2012 to my cousin L. Edward St. John) that the cemetery is on Hills Creek Rd on James Parker's property.

One of the memorials I created is 151168702. Is that perhaps a photo that you took and put on the CCCP web site? Can you give me details on how to get to that cemetery? Shall I add anything else to the cemetery record description?

Elsie Anderson Savage # 104191413
I was at the McKenzie Cemetery over the weekend. There is a stone for Norris and immediately to the right is a funeral home marker for Elsie Blackburn Whittington. (After all these years I guess I had the two Elsie's confused.) The next stone and subsequent stones in the row are different surnames. To the left of the stone for Norris there is a huge span with no markers whatsoever, then 4 markers for for Andersons who were sons/d-i-ls of Elsie Anderson (hesitate to call her Savage since there does not seem to be a marriage record anywhere for her and Norris, and my f-i-l had said he didn't think they were ever married.) So Elsie Anderson's grave must be in that open span and is obviously without a marker. So you should probably delete your photo request for it. When I download my photos I will upload a pic of that span to the memorial. I already noted on the memorial that the grave is unmarked.

Thank you, thank you!
I don't know how you found this!
Obviously the grave site is in the woods with a metal/iron fence around it.
Thank you for your all your effort.

Thanks Wayne for your help. I don't know why his wife Bessie's DOD is not entered on the marker. I have not actually found it either but can not imagine her not buried there since she did not remarry.

RE: Jack Case
Dear Wayne,
I am Jack Case Wilson, born a little over a year after his death. My uncle Jack was meant to be the salvation of our family, but his death destroyed it. A fellow Vet who had dinner with him the night before said Uncle Jack knew he would not return from the next days recon mission. He also said that most of the shells meant for the enemy were falling short and killing our own men. I have Jack's letters home, and he had so many dreams of getting married, having children, etc. I thank you for honouring him and giving me a little nudge in updating my family's info.

THANKS so much for your hard work. I really appreciate it so very much. It is so sad when graves disappear and then you dont know for sure who is buried where. It is good to know the general area of loved ones remains.

RE: Mary Messick Harrell - Messick/Gullett Cemetery
Hello Wayne, You'll never know how much I appreciate you going to the trouble looking for this grave. I understand how old cemeteries that go unattended go down so fast. I've been looking for my 4th great aunt and finally found where she was buried but had to get permission from the owner to go back in the woods to see the grave. But the good thing about the cemetery was that it was fenced in and the tombs were ok but very old and deteriorating and some are hard to read so I got some side walk chalk and lightly marked over them and brought every work right out. But once again Thanks for your hard work,

Kenard Jones

Is the cemetery near Murfreesboro. I think Adam and Jane settled first in Fosterville and also lived in Bell Buckle at some point. What town is it near?

Hey Wayne,
We can't thank you enough for the photo and Find a Grave for my Jane McElroy. A relative in Murphreesboro took the others in the Jones McElroy cemetery but evidently didn't get a good one for Jane.

I didn't think anyone would take the photo. If I can do anything for you or anyone you know here in Central FL please let me know.

He and a large number of relatives are in the Cherry Cemetery. I'm from the line who went to Texas about 1872-1907. I'm now in Washington State so haven't been to TN in 8-12 years I guess. What would I need to do if you transferred them to me?

Sorry Wayne, I'm so new at this that I don't know what "transfer a memorial to me" means.
