RE: Cora Jennings
Does the cemetery have record of the date that Francis Marion Jennings died? I have that he died 12/07/1917, but there's a note that says he "may have died in 1920."

Is there a marker for his grave?

RE: Cora Jennings
Wow...I didn't know he was buried by her! Don't have any records of that in my Family Tree! Cora was killed in a cyclone when my grandmother was just over a year old. She was their only child. We do have a picture of her, and she was beautiful.

He (Francis Marion Jennings) remarried shortly after her death, and had several more children by his newest wife.

We live in Mullen, NE. Never really knew where Curtis, Ne was (in fact, I just recently found out that is where she was buried). Will have to make a drive down there when the weather is a tad nicer.

Again...Thank you so much!

Re Danny Davenport
Would like permission to use photo of stone for our family genealogy.

Don't know if you are aware of the story of Dannys' death. He was one of the people to die in the Grand Island, NE tornado in 1980, there were 7 tornadoes that evening. Danny was visiting his fiance' and they sought shelter under an awning and the awning collapsed on top of there car. He had covered his fiance with his body to protect her. He saved her life (this is something that he always hoped he could do someday as he was volunteer firefighter). He passed away 3 days after the storms never regaining cousiness.

Thank you for your work

RE: Alexander Loudon 58090878
So which memorial site is correct? Does one of the sites need to be deleted or did you check the directory book to see if there is an Alexander T or if it was misspelled and A.L. should be A.T.
Didn't know if you found a stone for Alexander or you want the site deleted, or just the pictures......
Let me know.

thanks so much for adding a nice photo and letting me know. My additions were quite a while back when the limit on attachment size was quite low so your newer one is really appreciated.

Happy holidays,

Yes, there are 3 Memorials for John H. Kirby. But the owner of the other 2 refuses to communicate or delete either. Oh well...what can we do.
Thank You. Lettie

What is your source for the birth date? Was it something other than the Headstone? It looks like it says June 11 or 14, 1858. Got any other source?
Beautiful photo! Thank You! Lettie

Thank you so much for taking this picture. You were so quick getting it posted. I live in Minnesota so would have been quite a drive for me! These are my great-great grandparents who came from Denmark in 1879.
Thanks again,

Mary Nafziger's Headstone
Thank you for contributing Mary Nafziger's Headstone! (Mary Elizabeth Nafziger b. 11/22/1902 d. 12/18/1902) This is my great Aunt. When I was in the area in 2001 my Mom, her sister and Mary's youngest sister looked for the headstone and never did find it. Our family is truly thankful to you for posting of this picture I can share with the family! Thank you! Rebecca Booth
