Jesse and Sarah Darrohn
Hello!
Thanks for posting memorial #134709213 Ė Jesse Darrohn and his wife Sarah A Darrohn (memorial #134709191). They are my 3rd great grandparents. Iím interest in where you located the dates that you posted. I have slightly different dates. For example, I have Jesseís date of birth as Dec 28, 1819 from a church baptismal record at Christ Lutheran Church in Upper Mount Bethel and his date of death as Sep 1 1896 from a Death Certificate. The dates you have for his wife, Sarah A are the same as my records. I have long assumed that they were buried in the Plainfield Cemetery but during my brief time at the cemetery, I was unable to locate them. Do you happen to have a photo of their grave? I would be delighted to manage their memorials if you will transfer them to me. My contributor number is #47151246 (Jill Bowers). If not, please update the record for Sarah A to reflect her maiden name of Werkheiser.
Thank you!
Jill

Mary Floyd Stephens
Hi, My mom and I went out there back in the spring and in this tiny town there is 2 cemeteries. She is buried in the back and there is space around her but didn't see any marker for Pollard Stephens, her husband. Alot of Stephens are buried at both.

What a blessing that you got a nice photo of Joseph's marker. The other picture has been bothering me for a long time.

Thank you for your volunteer-ism and all your efforts.

RE: Sophia Schlamb
Why don't you transfer it over to me; I'll do the link, and then transfer it back. The person who has the sister's memorial has not updated yet, but I am sure it will get done eventually, and then I will see if she can do a link from hers back to Sophia's.

Incidentally, Elizabeth Edgar Angle's sister had three sets of twins! :)

linking memorials using programming
How do I add a link from one memorial to another?
In order to create a link in the biography of one memorial to someone else's memorial (such as the person's spouse or parent), you will need to use a bit of HTML code. It's hard to put into words, so here is an example (from Johnny Carson's biography which has a link to Red Skelton's memorial page): Pioneering Television Legend, Comic, Host. Carson began his entertainment career in radio but quickly moved to television. He moved to Hollywood to become a writer for "The Red Skelton Show."

In the biography, you would need to type
< a href="http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=XXXXXXX">Name< /a>

where XXXXXXX is the GRid number of the memorial you want to link. The GRid is a unique id for each memorial and as such is the only thing within the entire URL that must be included. The "Name" is what will show up on the screen as a link.

You will need to remove the space between < and a at the beginning as well as the space between the < and / at the end. The spaces were added here to actually show you the code.

You can also use "Add relationship links" on the memorial page. You can add the links to father, mother, and multiple spouses. Adding this information will automatically post the reverse information to the linked memorial as well. [Top]

RE: Sophia Schlamb
Adam,

Thank you for correcting that.

Do you know how to do the coding for internal html linking in bios? Sophia had a twin sister, who is also on the site, and I would love to have it mentioned in her bio, with a link to the twin. Let me know if you are able to do that, and I will send you the twin's memorial info. If you do not know how to do the links, we can still have her listed in the bio, with the memorial #.

Thanks again,

Zella

Adam,

Thank you for adding the info for Sophia. However, either I was tired and typed it wrong or you copied it wrong.

You have:

Daughter of David and Elizabeth (Angle) Demott.

It should be:

Daughter of David Demott and Elizabeth (Edgar) Angle.

Her father was David Demott Angle
Her mother was Elizabeth Edgar

Thank you,

Zella

Memorial for Susanna (Conrad) Frantz
Dear Adam,

Apparently I created a duplicate when I created Memorial #81909332, and you have very kindly taken a photo and posted it there. I should delete my duplicate, but I don't want to lose your photo!

Would you be willing to transfer your photo to Memorial #8052701, or would you mind if I transfer it?

Thank you so much for taking the photo and posting it originally, and thank you for helping me correct my blunder.

Marian
