Ron Burkette
I just visited the memorial for Ron Burkette buried at Grand Prairie Cemetery. We were moving in August and changed emails, must have missed my notice of the photo request being filled and I just noticed that you took the photo request. I am so thankful and it was such a nice surprise this morning. Thank you so much for your time, expense and thoughtfulness!

Garnet L. Jackson Gay was an aunt. You do not need to transfer. I just send what little information I have on people that are listed in findagrave.

RE: Barbara Boyd ; Marion, Ohio
I found it on Family Search...sometimes it's a goldmine, and sometimes I find nothing! I was too tired last night to make the double checks that I usually do before submitting edits, which is why I submitted the info to you the way I did rather than fill in info myself. I know that irritates some people, so thank you for being gracious. I see that more people with her maiden name are in that cemetery, so those might be related to her. Have a wonderful day.

RE: Charles Smith / Nellie Ball
Thank you for bringing this to my attention. This is a situation where father and son had the same name. I have checked Nellie's memorial that I manage and made sure that the correct Charles (50834804) was listed as Nellie's spouse. I have also notified the owner of the younger Charles' memorial (#50834822) and made him aware of the situation and asked him to remove the designation of spouse from the memorial of Nellie's son, since I am unable to make that change myself.

Nellie is a cousin on the paternal side of my family and she was blessed with many siblings and many children. With your interest in this family, might we be related? You can contact me via e-mail:

Loren Guy Hord 94340054
Actually there are two Loren Guy Hords listed in find a grave website, they are 94340054 and 94249872. Loren Guy Hord is my grandfather and I have requested ownership so I can easily make the changes. 94249872 is the most accurate for Loren Guy Hord, but there are still errors. The marker photo (Loren H Hord) in 94340054 is my uncle (he is the son of 94249872). The name on 94340054 needs changed back to Loren H Hord (I got confused with the two Loren Hords and I may have made matters worse with some initial suggestions a few days ago--my first day on this site).
I can tell you are very dedicated to this site and I applaud your work. It's people like you like will make some much of this information live on forever. Thank you very much.

brooks photos
Hi DJ thanks for the attempt but the wrong photo was removed. If you can just remove the other and I will add one later when I can take another photo. I live only a mile from the cemetery so that's not a problem. Just let me know! Thanks so much for taking the time to take the pictures and posting them. I didn't have as suitable camera until about a year ago.

photo to be removed
Hi! My name is Joyce and I am the manager to two memorials that you added photos to. They belong to my parents.

There is a photo on each of their memorials that belong to my sister's memorial.
The two memorial # to remove from is #5679960 Richard Brooks and #5679980 Hilda Brooks.

The photo that needs removed is the one that says "Daughter of Richard and Hilda Brooks......."
The photo has already been saved to my sister's memorial, but just needs deleted from these two.

thanks so much!
Joyce Brooks Wolf

RE: James Chard
I found 1 sister in the LaRue cemetery and connected them. Also Ruth Augenstein in GC cemetery, who might be the other sister. Do you know when she was born?

RE: Chard Family; Marion Co., Ohio
Sorry, but Susan Burnot was the first spouse of William Chard Jr. Not the wife of William Chard Sr. We believe she is buried in the old Sandusky Cemetery as there is a Mrs. William Chard buried there. The license for William and Susan Burnot clearly shows it is Jr. not SR. You can email me at Jo

RE: Chard Family; Marion Co., Ohio
The only info we have is that his father was William Chard and his mother was Susannah (?). Since James was born in Pennsylvania we feel William and Susannah were probably married there but we can't find a marriage and have no idea what her maiden name is. I do know she was in charge of his estate when he died which indicates she could read and write and that made me wonder if she was a Quaker but I could not find that either. She is buried in Steuben County Indiana but there is no marker for her and no birth or death date. According to the obit. for her son, Levi she is buried next to him. His sisters, Elizabeth and Susannah both married more than once and Margaret died rather young. Am not sure I could give you any dates on this stuff as I am bad about not putting stuff into my tree maker. Jo
