Urho Emil Ahola
Thank you for the photo of Urho's grave. Your work and time is greatly appreciated by me. May I use your photo in my ancestry tree, at the moment it is still private.
I like to ask for permission and give photographer credit. Thank you so much.

John Bernard Meehan
Sorry Brenda. That photo headstone you posted to John Bernard Meehan is not his headstone. That is his son's headstone with the photo included. His son, Michael Meehan, died in Vietnam. Can you please remove that headstone from John's memorial?

Thank you,

John Meehan

There is a photo on John Meehan's headstone. Do you still have the original? I would like to blow it up and save it in my family files. His memorial ID is 41884758.

Thank you,

RE: Cemeteries in your area
I'm trying to determine which cemetery on Find A Grave to list 3 more relatives in the Tulppo line.
You can e-mail me at: sec412atbexdotnet

Cemeteries in your area
Well, I think I found a daughter of Paabo & Elsa Tulppo but I'm confused as to the exact, correct name for the cemetery.
I have Ida Tulppo marrying an Emile Malin.
On the Chippewa Co. site I found Emile, Ida & Roy Malin buried in what they are calling:

South Rudyard Cemetery, Rudyard Twp. Chippewa Co., MI
MALIN EMIL *1892* WITH IDA 16 3 15
MALIN IDA 1895-1955 16 3 15
16 3 15

On Find A Grave there is a Rudyard Cemetery but I'm not sure it is the same as where the above are buried.
I'd like to make memorials for the 3 people above but I want to make sure I put them in the correct cemetery.
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

RE: Ahola, Tulppo & Cardona
Thank you ever so much!!!!!
You didn't have to go back so soon!
The pictures are grea!!
The close up of the name plates for Paabo & Elsa are excellent!!!
I've made some changes on the memorials to reflect the photos.
I noticed that their is the name Ellen on the marker for John with only a dob. I'm wondering if a dod was just never put on for her or if she might have remarried after he died.
Solve a few mysteries and up pops another in their place.
I really appreciate all you have done.

RE: Ahola, Tulppo & Cardona
I'm real interested in whether there might be any reference to Elias wife.
Anna Marie (or Maria) Tulppo:
dob 13 Sep 1851 in Finland; year of death 1937 (I think) in MI. Not sure if she died while living with her daughter, my Aunt Katie Ahola, or not.
I know Elias died while living with his daughter & son-in-law as Mom remembers him living there & I do have his obit.
Also mentioned in the obit was grandpa's brother, Paul of Rudyard.
Paul's wife: Gustava/Kustaava (could be Elsa or Elsa or Elsie) dob-maybe-Apr 1867
I haven't worked on the Tulppo line for quite some time as I've connected with distant relatives on my father's side of the family.
You have me going at the Tulppo's again.

Ahola, Tulppo & Cardona
THANK YOU!!!!!!!!
Words aren't enough but I can't think of anything else!
I never thought I get to see the grave marker for my Great Grandfather, Elias Tulppo.
I so wish I'd known more about my Finnish family the couple of times I was in the area of Kinross so I could have visited his gravesite and maybe found some sort of marker for his wife and brother.
A trip to the UP of MI is now out of the question for me.
And then you found Great Aunt Katie! Her husband and several of their children.
What a day you muct have had walking the cemetery.
Thank you ever so much.
