RE: Caramanico
We visited the Caramanico cemetery back in 2006 to meet & visit our Italian cousins. We tried to photograph any graves of people with our family surnames even though we have not proven how or if we are directly related. I cannot recall exactly where the cemetery was but am pretty sure it was close to the town of Caramanico. Does that answer your question or were you looking for something more specific? --Cari

RE: Ole Nelson at Baker
Thanks so much for your response. I'll have to visit Baker Cemetery soon and have a look. The Nelson stone looks to be in bad shape. The Ole Nelson I'm looking for was born abt 1815 in Norway and died April 1857. Thanks again for you help.

you had records for both Henry Martin Hanson (134292655) and Ole Nelson ( 134373749). Do you remember if they were buried close to one another? Thanks

Thank you so much. I am working on this side of my family now. It is so confusing when dealing with spellings of last names and first especially if they are from another country and or Native American. Thank you and I will look up the updated information.

I was your recording and thank you! This may be a grandparent of my husband. She was born Josephine Eggemeyer married a Rebbel and divorced him. Then married Mr. Werten. She is shares a stone with Harold and Rachel Yahn McDonald. Can you tell me anythings else? She had three daughters and one was Mary Reppel who had Edna Noll (may be Nall or Nalle) But I was wondering if you knew anything more about her?

Many thanks for your recording!

James Dunn Harlan
You have James Dunn Harlan Memorial# 116284247 I think the information that you have is the wrong Harlan. He married Annie Elms who's grave is
Memorial# 23418106. I haven't found James grave yet.

RE: Baker
No, I haven't been to Baker. Lloyd Bergeson in his description emphasized how difficult it was to find and how he had to avoid a farmers dog! But I do have a GPS so hopefully that will help. Lloyd actually recreated Ole's voyage in reverse and sailed solo to Norway. On the return unfortunately he met with high seas off Iceland and it took the boat, although he and his son were rescued. Quite an adventurous family. Anyway, thanks again! If you hadn't posted these I might never have found where the family is. I really appreciate it.

RE: Ole & Rachel Bergeson (Baker)
Would be great if you could add John as well. Ancestry.com is now using findagrave as a resource, so other family will now be able to look up this data as well and link their related family. I hope to be able to get to Baker next summer, I have family there and in the Champaign Urbana area. Thanks again for the work you did! It is much appreciated.

Ole and Rachel Bergeson
This evening I was trying to find better info for the cemetery where my GG Grandfather Ole Bergeson was buried and realized it was not in the cemetery I had thought (Saint Petrie Lutheran Church Cemetery in Leland Illinois) but in what is now called Baker Cemetery. There I found your memorial with Ole (#134404881) and Rachel (#134404910). Would it be possible for me to use your grave photo and for you to transfer these memorials? I had already created memorials for both in 2012 and have moved them to Baker Cemetery where they belong. I would like to link to the rest of the family. Thank you so much for taking the photos. My late relative Lloyd Bergeson did a lot of research on the family and I know he would be pleased to see them! Let me know, thanks!

I try not to put duplicate info in the Bio section--it already states that he was a laborer and the husband of Annino, and his age is easily calculated from his birth and death dates.

Thank you. My father was Milbert Larson. He died long ago but I found it too sad to add his grave. Thank you for doing this. I will add a bio if you will transfer his memorial to me.

I also added Lawrence, as his name appears on the headstone.
