RE: William Congdon
21 Sep 2014: First, I need to apologize. On a hunch, I went over to the cemetery because I knew there were other Congdon headstones near the large family headstone....and I found William!!! I don't know how I missed him the first time. There is a William Sr. and William Jr. There is also an Ann Elizabeth, Virgil and Walter. I put pictures of all of these headstones on their appropriate sheet.

Again, I'm so sorry I didn't notice it the first time I walked through. Since my initial visit, I now have pictures of 95% of all the headstones in the cemetery, but I did not revisit that area after my initial walk-thorough.

Carl C Smith
Hello! I wonder if you have any information on the memorial for Carl C Smith #88611792? This my be our family. My great grand Uncle was Carl Curtis Smith born in Alabama about the same time. He was married to Idell Burnette? The only difference is that we found information that lead us to believe he was buried in OK where he served in the military. We have found nothing for her there. Just wondering if you have any information. If this is the same person and it is your Smith family we may have information for you.
Thanks for all your work!

I have photographed this entire cemetery and the only markers there are uploaded. The only markers from the 1963 physical survey are Thomas, Margaret & Frances. I did list the info I had found for her death records on the Unmarked Grave image if you wanted to copy it over to the bio. I hope this helps as I too no longer live in the area I need research done. If I can find more info I will certainly send it your way. Maria

No, I am not. I just took some pictures and put the information on Find a Grave. I found a relative of mine because someone had put the information on the site so I was trying to help in case someone was looking for the ones I recorded. Is he your relative?

RE: Coburn
Kevin you are very welcome!! I can't remember if I posted the info on my photo response, but the cemetery staff did confirm he is buried there. Section A/east, block 43, plot 2, space 1. There is just no marker on the grave.

Hi, I have captured your photo request. I plan on heading over there tomorrow but I always like to make sure people are there before I go. Jeremiah is not listed in the records or the paulding county cemetery book that was transcribed in 1995 and revised in 2006. There are hundreds of graves no longer marked and most never marked as that was a battle ground in the civil war and many soldiers were buried unmarked. There has also been a tornado which claimed many markers. His son Jacob and his wife Mary are listed, which means as of 1995 there was markers for them. I will get them for you

Thanks so much Kevin. Your photos / work / effort / photo transfers have not gone unnoticed. It's amazing. I had no idea I had family members in Waukesha, WI. If I discover more I'll let you know. Awesome job Kevin, just wonderful. Do you work at cemetery? Or are you a volunteer with this huge personal goal to photograph that entire Forest Hill Cemetery?
