I'm not sure the actual address but it was an old farm house originally; has a stone wall along the road. My son had put in a boat launch while they lived there. His ex-wife's parents live just down the road, Mike and Janet Parks; near to what use to be the store.

My son use to live out on Pillar Point on the north side, it's a small world. Maybe I'll run into you sometime in my many cemetery hunts. I'm into Find a Grave searches and also do a lot of genealogy.

Hi Dave, I was just posting photos to Three Mile Bay Cemetery and noticed your name; are you related to Michael Schryver who is a deputy sheriff? I worked with him until I retired, really nice guy. Just curious.

I am very grateful and thankful to you for getting a picture of my g-grandmother's headstone. It greatly assists with my genealogy. I was also excited to see in the big grouping photo, a picture of my great-uncle Carlton's headstone. Thank you very much!

|Dorsey Barnes Drane||RE: John & Harriet Parent|
Thank you so much for trying to find their graves! Harriet was a great aunt of my wife's. We've only known of them by name. It wasn't until I found newspaper articles about them that I could piece together something about their lives.
They were husband and wife, but their deaths were 41 years apart. Harriet died at age 26, leaving her husband with three preteen children. They were placed in an orphanage fairly quickly. John lived alone and never remarried. I doubt if he was in touch with his children or in-laws.
Her funeral was at St. Elizabeth’s Catholic church in Dexter, arranged by Chideater or Chidester Undertaking. His funeral was handled by the Cummins funeral home.
In my mind, it's very unlikely that they wound up with identical plot numbers in two different sections. I hope that can be resolved, and I strongly hope that they have markers!
