Marie is buried at Oakwood Hill Cemetery, Tacoma, WA - grave is "unmarked" per Oakwood Hill. My son and I searched the area of her grave site, and we found no marker. I'm sure Fred Vogel [his memorial] could probably verify this for you.

Kathleen, I visited this cemetery again and spoke with the township office about Daniel & Catherine Wetzel they are in the cemetery records but I believe the stones are unreadable or no longer visible, Leah Helwig is not recorded but I will look further because I found a child that was the daughter of Leah her name Mary Ann July 7or9 1843 4m-7day I have that picture. Also Wm.Jacoby 1816-1819 may be there but the record dates are different and a lot of those stones are not clear enough to read. I hope this is helpful. Thanks Jenny

Are you related to William?
I asked the office at Mountain View and they showed not having a marker for William.....well, as you can see, he does (and so does his wife). I have to apologize because William is in an indoor Mausoleum at Mountain View and it was dark in there. I had to use the flash on my camera, and you can see that some 8 legged creatures had crafted some webs inside his niche.
I hope you like the photo!

I can't find the headstone for Henry Wesco at Hickory flat. I found his son, Andrew; his daughter , Elizabeth; and his wife, Margaret however his stone is not standing in the vicinity of those. Many stones in that area of the cemetery have fallen, broken or missing.

It's nice to hear from a distant cousin.
I have been trying to connect all the people I'm related to. A big task!
We, too are retired, and I have my genealogy and gardening.
If you want to add any additional information on any of the memorial pages, let me know.

You're very welcome. I was told by the cemetery that you can have a memorial set if the family wants to do that. Take care. Andi

Hi Kathleen, I got names around him and regretfully he does not have a visible marker. I have taken and posted a couple of photos of his location and in the caption on the pictures I have put the location. Hope you are pleased.

Hello Kathleen, I got Mr. Davy's location and went there today. I'm not absolutely positive, but I don't believe he has a memorial marker where I think he is buried. I transcribed that whole section a year or so ago so if he did have one, I would have seen it. However, I'm going to contact the Sexton of the Cemetery and ask for people around him to see if I was in the correct spot. I did take a picture of where I think he is located and will at least post that if I was correct as to who is around him. Take care.

Millet is a very small town in central Alberta. Is there someplace else in the area that they might have been? If you have a name of another town I might be able to help you.

Sorry, I didn't look to see that you were the requester for Sarah, Henry and Martin Jacoby before I sent the last message. We looked hard for these little ones too and could not find them. There really aren't any stones around their parents that could be theirs. I found the one for George who already has a picture on his memorial and tried to look especially close at the stones near where his is but there are so many stones in that area that just have nothing at all that is readable. Very sorry! I couldn't even come up with any that I thought might be theirs.

My husband and I spent yesterday walking the cemetery and looking for your photo requests for the Wetzels. We were able to find James and his wife, Mary and we also found the stone for Lydia his mother. However, we were unable to find stones for George or Maria. There are a lot of badly weathered stones in this cemetery and many that are completely unreadable. However, there was a very small white stone right next to Lydia's that has the name Wetzel on it. It was the only thing we could make out though. I could not figure out the letters on the top for the first name at all. I think I could see dau of right above the name Wetzel though. I just can't be sure if it is George or Maria or perhaps another child. If you would like to see the photo, I would be glad to email it to you. Just let me know where to send it.

I did that because he is buried in that plot. He has no stone, but is buried there according to cemetery record.

I went to elementary school with David. He broke both his legs in a sledding accident when we were in 6th grade. His parents gave him a birthday party at his home, he was still in a wheelchair. Our teacher walked us down from Sickman school to his home. I lost track of him because they moved from Baldwin 2 years later. I was sad to see how young he died.
