RE: Thank you
Hi Margaret,
Yes, I was surprised about it too...I still don't get it. I tend to leave my messages up that I think might help other people on here, and if you wade thru them, you'll find somebody asking me here and there about it, and that's how I realized that I wasn't the only one...I still say that the only hard rule that I completely understand is to take into consideration somebody's religion - for instance, I would never leave Christian tokens on the page of a Jewish person...but other than that, I am just speechless at what people find to complain about. Anyhow, have a good week and stay in touch - Hugs, RCP and Gannon Blue

Highlighting Names =)
Dear Margaret,
Highlighting is just mentioning your pages by name and memorial number on my own page, and then some of my regulars who stop for name suggestions know that it's been okayed for strangers to visit those pages...it's hard to believe, but you wouldn't believe how many pages on the site I have innocently visited, leaving a flower out of respect, and I got a follow up message not to visit 'people you don't know'. Hm! I was really hurt until I found out that it happens to everybody, and that's how the highlighting thing took off - personally, if you want to visit my pages and take that time out of your life to read about my parents and brother, as well as many other immediate family members, military heroes who deserve every token that they get and more, and little children whose pages might be being overlooked, I will virtually send you hot cocoa and Thank Yous for the rest of your life. =) But I do know some folks are private, and so as you see, I ask now before I do it...it's not like your pages will get hundreds of tokens just because I mentioned them, but as I think I said before, if it sends even a visitor or two your way who would not have known about your pages, then I did what I hoped to do. =) Since you okayed me, I will list at least one of your pages now, and let's see where it goes; let me know how you are and hope we talk again. Hugs, RCP and Gannon Blue

Hi! =)
Dear Margaret,
I know that we don't know one another, but a friend of mine here on the site found your pages, and he thought perhaps your memorials would be good ones to highlight over on my page, to bring a few visitors their way...would you mind? I began with highlighting a name here and there because it bothered me some of my own pages (my parents, brother, etc.) have been blessed with hundreds and hundreds of tokens, but some folks seem to get overlooked. It has been a very positive activity and brought real camaraderie among members, and I'm sure if people knew about your pages, you'd soon have tokens and blessings to spare. =) We also sponsor pages - another side activity that really took off, so don't let my list of highlighted people scare you away, I always say if somebody visits one of those pages, I'm more than happy -, and so let me know whether you would like your pages sponsored, and I promise I'll ask my friends. Anyhow, it looks like you and I came on the site around the same time; it has turned out to be a Godsend for me, as I lost my mom very suddenly last August, and seeing her page, tokens and prayers receive so much attention and love has truly helped me deal with her loss. Hope to hear from you, have a good weekend - Best, Rhonda and Gannon Blue

Ephrata photos

Hi Margaret,
I see you have taken many photos at the Ephrata cemetery and Saint Rose of Lima. Thank you! Are you interested in helping us finish photographing the whole cemetery? We just have one small section left. We all live a ways away in Chelan, Spokane and Coeur d'Alene. We have worked on many cemeteries to get them totally photographed until of course, a new stone is set. Let me know. Thanks Rosalie

Adam Aho
Hello,
I have been working on the Western State Cemetery for awhile now, and I came across Adams memorial tonight in my work. The photo and location for him are wrong on the web site. I have posted the correct information on the memorial, and am working at having his location changed through the administrators at Find A Grave.

If you have any questions, feel free to contact me

Tavvo & Dorothy Kumma
I happened to drive by the Marenisco Cemetery to hopefully find Lisa Kumma's headstone. It was a Saturday, and did not have a chance to call the city office for a location. So I walked just a small corner of the cemetery, and found two more Kumma's... Tavvo and Dorothy Kumma. I added them in the Marenisco Cemetery info. You can do a search and find them. I included a photo of their headstones. Now I wonder if there are even more Kumma's there! I plan to call the city and find out...

RE: Adam Aho
Greetings from Tacoma, Washington. Just for future reference, Laurel Lemke of Grave Concerns at Western State Hospital is facilitating replacement of the numbered stones with more conventional grave markers. If you would like to have the replacement of Mr. Aho's stone accelerated, contact Laurel and she will advise you on how to do this.

I have not been to the cemetery for at least a year. I was given the cemetery records and I am entering them into find-a-grave. No I don't have a photo. You should see the memorial for Lisa show up in the next few days. When you do, make a photo request, and I will make sure to get to that cemetery!

I was working on another cemetery, and came across another Kumma... Since she is in the same county as the other Kumma's I sent you photos of, I thought you might want to know about Lisa.
Lisa Marie Kumma. Died 1964 (no other date info). Did you know of her?

RE: Thank you again
You can see a close up of Robert's headstone... do a search in this same cemetery as the other Kumma's, and look at his specific memorial...

RE: Thank you again
several people had taken photos for me, so I felt I needed to return the favor. Maybe not to them specifically, but to the find-a-grave community... It makes me feel like a 'team'. Glad to be of service to you!

By the way, you requested just 'mom' and 'dad', which I found. But then I found another grave right next to them, Robert. I added him into the find-a-grave cemetery. Did you know he existed?

There were two other Saukkola members, Larry and little Kali Jo Gilpatrick; a son and granddaughter of George and Doris. I really love stones that include the children - makes it so easy to link and follow the family lines! MHH
