RE: Steinmetz
Thank you for your note, Sonia! It's always such an honor to fulfill requests such as yours!

It's also a somber reminder of how many brave men and women, have served our Country, throughout the years; protecting the freedoms we enjoy today. They must not be forgotten!

Best Wishes Always,
Sharon

RE: Fr. Harkins
You are very welcome. I always enjoy going up to Oregon Providence cemetery, it is a very nice well kept little cemetery. While I was there a Priest came over to me and chatted, he was there checking on the watering. The Seminary there is now a private school and no longer owned by the Jesuits, the cemetery is still owned by the church.
The cemetery is located on the west slope of Mt. St. Michaels over looking the city of Spokane.

RE: Herbert J Brantmeier
Glad I could help.
I was hoping when I corrected the cemetery location and deleted the old request that you would get some sort of notice and still see that I had added the photo.
A lot of the Brantmeier from the immediate area are in Sherwood, so I guess when Paul added the original memorial in 2013 he just ASSUMED he was there too. Brantmeier are also my wife's relation somehow. Cousins or something like that. I don't follow it that closely. LOL

RE: Selma Walker
You're very welcome, I'm glad I could help out! I'm sorry I missed Selma's stone on my way through last year when I photographed George. Those city-issue stones grow over so fast that they can be hard to spot if you aren't looking for them.

It was no problem. I always go to Portland Cemetery on my birthday, so I was there. While there, I also photographed her parents gravestone if this is of interest

Glad I could help, the cemetery is just up the road but they are doing construction nearby so I learned a nifty back way in. Take care!

You have a request in for a John McDonald. The one you have requested is not the spouse to Margaret. I found the correct one and linked them together. I was wondering if you still wanted the marker photo of the John you have requested.

Marcellus Dorn
Do you know where Marcellus Dorn is buried?

You say that he died in Madison, Dane Co., WI.

RE: Angeline Dorn
Hi-
There's a couple months' discrepancy, here, between your dates and the grave's.

You've got "1978" for Angeline's birth; the grave has "1879". I guess they rounded it off; but still--that's quite a jump from Sept. of 1878, to round off to nearest year.

-----------

Anna: Where did she die?
And, where is Marcellus?!

Angeline Dorn
Do you happen to know Angeline Dorn's mother's name, as her name (last name only), Angeline is buried next to her mother.
Angeline is listed (with her mother) in the index of the St. Mary's Cemetery (Section G, Plot 1, Grave 1 for her mother & Section G, Plot 1, Grave 2 for Angeline).

Calvary Cemetery Tacoma
Brooks - Hello, Supposedly all visible grave memorials have been photographed. A suggestion though, if you would call the cemetery and get a location, someone may claim your request and then get an "approximate" location photo for you. And you may ask them if they can tell you for a few people around them. I have heard that they only like to give out locations for relatives of those buried in there cemetery. Their number is 253-472-8875.

Good luck!!!

Hi, You're welcome. I like doing it and I get alot of exercise this way, but I really do like helping out this way. I also found Dolores Catherine (7 Oct 1917-24 Mar 1996) which says 'wife and mother'. Also a Mary Jo (2 Oct 1952-25 Dec 1968) which was the same kind of stone as Gregorys. Neither one had a last name on it, but they were right by his. I tried to look up Dolores on Find A Grave and couldn't find her. Just wanted to tell you that I did take those photos if you have memorials for them. Have a great day.

Cleveland Calvary Request
Just a friendly mid June reminder that we need plot info to fill your Cleveland Calvary request(s). We have less than 500 requests left but plot info for only 6% of those, having already filled the rest with plot info. We can't ask for plot info for more than 3 requests per week. Please call (216) 641-7575 and obtain plot info. We'd really appreciate it and will fill your request(s) soon after getting plot info. Thank you!

Cook Family
I, also, took pictures of their children's stones located in the same plot. That would be Atto, Ray, Hattie, and May Cook. I, also, typed the obits that I got from the Gibbon Library and the person that owns the memorials added it to their memorials. Sure hope it helps.
