The census is notorious for its spelling errors. However, the Sion Hunt Bible shows his name as Crumley so I have changed the spelling on his memorial.

|Zoe Tom||Hemphill - Gaston connection|
I found the connection to my Hemphill research.
They are connected to that cemetery via the Gaston people.
So, that makes it more likely that our historian might know something about the sources...since those are his kin.

Thanks for your reply. I think the 2004 date may partially explain the problem. Maybe you could check with the Pastor and see if he knows of any earlier books or sources and the local historian or historical society.
I am sure my source came from much earlier records. The Historian from the Hemphill Historical Society may know something.
There may be on-line records too.

|Zoe Tom||Fishing Creek Presb. Church Directory|
PS What year was the Fishing Creek Presbyterian Church Cemetery Directory written?
I know I did have some very old Presbyterian books at one time, but gave some away to the Hemphill Historical Society members.
At this time, I have boxes and boxes of source material. I need to be tossing it or donating it
If I run across anything, in doing so, I will let you know.

"George R Kelso/Kelsey is not listed in the Fishing Creek Presbyterian Church Cemetery Directory as being interred there."
To me, that is pretty tragic, as his wife and her parents are clearly there, and George was one of the founding fathers, having donated the land for the church???
Good grief! Someone there needs to do some real research on this matter. Unfortunately, I added this man in 2009, and should have added my source as well. 'Sorry.
And then, to boot, someone added a double entry for his wife and failed to report the information about her parents on that very old tombstone???
(I have connected her to her parents, by the way.)
What does it say in the directory about her parents???
Thanks for the suggestion, but these entrees will be here long after I die, and I don't want anyone to think that maybe George isn't there.
It's my opinion, someone needs to try to prove he is. Maybe the old deeds and Wills might help????

Many thanks for getting the Harry and Mary Showalter headstone onto Find A Grave. Been looking for them quite a while. Turned out great.
I wonder if you'd allow me to use the pic in the family research, with credit, of course?

RE; Your photo taking claims in All Saints Cemetery, Jensen Beach. It is a double marker. There is a photo of HER side, but there is no photo of HIS side and no photo of both sides together. You reported that there was a good photo of Joseph's side, which is not the case. A suggestion would be to take a photo of his side for his memorial and also to take one of both sides together to be added to both memorials.

Thank you so much for this picture. I am a biological daughter of Don's from Cincinnati. I never really knew/remember him but this helps me in many ways.
Thank you again
I still would love to meet and know the rest of the family he had, but its taken me this long just to get this far since his death as I found out a month after the fact. But I hopping it will work out someday.
