Hi Linda,

Richard Cox, Bishop of Ely, is also my 12th great grandfather, by way of the Hotchkiss, Pardee and Brooks families, eventually leading to the Cummings family, and eventually leading to me!

Sorry I don't remember where his marker is
located. The office should be able to tell you.
When I saw your last name I thought you might
be asking about Max Cutlip. I worked with Max
at Southern Bell. He's in RMP cemetery

Leona Kelly
Henrietta Clifford Davis
I see you list, with her grave, that she is your 3rd great grandmother. I am interested in her husband, your 3rd great grandfather, Clement Davis. I believe he is a brother to my 3rd great grandmother, Rachael Davis. According to my records, Clement was born 3 March 1778 in Laurens County, South Carolina and Rachael was born 4 March 1786 same place. They both ended up in Christian County, Kentucky and I am looking for any information on their parentage, if you have any.
Thanks for any help you can give me.

William Fourqurean
How are you related to William Fourqurean and his wife Elizabeth? I am working on one of their sons, Ballard Fourqurean who married Estelle Cox in Kentucky. Estelle Cox was a sister to Sadie Cox who married Arthur Fondeau. Arthur was a brother to my grandfather Oscar Fondaw. Do you have info on this line?

lINDA, RIGHT NOW, i AM SORT OF TIED UP WITH MY OWN GENEOLOGY AND AN ABUNDANCE OF OTHER ISSUES.
HOWEVER, WHEN SOME TIME FREES UP, i WOULD WELCOME THE OPPORTUNITY TO REVIEW YOUR FAMILY TREE.

MY FAMILY TREE IS TOO BIG TO SHARE. iT REQUIRES 156 8-1/2 X 11 PAGES TO COVER ALL OF THE BRANCHES. aT ONE TIME WHEN MY MOTHER FIRST STARTED IT, THE TREE WAS ON NE SHEET FOR SHELF PAPER 8" WIDE BY 36" LONG. wHEN i TOOK OVER OWNERSHIP AND RESPONSIBILITY, i TRANSFERRED IT TO A 48" X 144" SHEET THAT HAD TO BE PRINTED OUT ON A VERY LARGE PLOTTER. THEN, ONE DAY i REALIZED THAT EVEN THAT SHEET HAD LIMITATIONS. FINALLY, i TOOK THE BIG STEP OF CONVERTING IT OVER TO AN AVAILABLE FAMILY TREE FORMAT ON PRINT ARTIST VERSION 23. THE ONLY LIMITATION OF THIS FORMAT AND SOFTWARE IS THAT I CAN ONLY GET 4 GENERATIONS ON ONE PAGE,THE I HAVE TO ADD ANOTHER PAGE FRO CONTINUATION OF EACH BRANCH AND THEN THE ONLY OTHER ISSUE IS THAT UNLESS i CONVERT THE PAGE TO A .PDF FILE,YOU COULD NOT VIEW THE PAGE UNLESS YOU HAVE PRINT ARTIST VERSION 23. IT REQUIRES A LITTLE EXTRA WORK BUT THE RESULTS ARE VERY REWARDING.

IN CASE YOU ARE INTERESTED, I CAN ALWAYS SEND YOU ONE PAGE THAT HAS BEENCONVERTED TO .PDF AND ASSUMING THAT YOU HAVE ADOBE ACROBAT, THEN YOU CAN GET A LITTLE IDEA OF HOW i HAVE MINE STRUCTURED.

Hopson / Thomas search
Linda, I did an in-depth search for Emma Thomas Hopson and John Addison Hopson. Following my search, I checked back on Find-A-Grave and see that you have an outstanding request for Emaline's monument. One thing that comes to my mind is that her name and dates are on the reverse side of Johns' monument. That particular style of tombstone commonly has the sposes name on the reverse side.

Finally, the in-depth search did not yiel any new information about their parents, but it did specifically say that Emma's given name is Emaline and the dates of birth and death for Emaline are listed as 1831 - 1891 and likewise for John, 1811 - 1881.

If you go to World Connect and do a search for John, initially you will get a hugh list, however at the bottom of the page, add his middle name (Addison) and you will get two entries. The first one has some irregularities
so go to the second one and you will find reference to emaline and all of their children,

Kindest regards,

T.C. Burns

Your Thomas search
Linda, I accidentally ran across your comments as I was checking into another Find-A-Grave volunteer's request for some photo requests.

I have been in geneology for 60+ years. (I started at a young age.) My family tree goes back to 343 A.D. and is 156 pages long.

I do not know if you have tried World Connect.com but I have found information on it that Ancestry.com does not have. Now, I will be the very first to say that some of that information was quite wrong and some is slightly inaccurate. However, if you are careful and ask the critical questions:

1. Do the dates of birth and death work?

2. Does the person in question's children agree or person's parents agree.

3. Dos the person's parent's or children's places of birth and death agree with your records

If you can answer "YES" to all of these questions, thenthere is a 95% liklihood that you have a good match.

Kindest regards,

T.C. Burns

RE: Twins/ Deliah and Delaney
My maternal great grandmother, Delitha Thomas Wicker never went by the name, Deliah. Her twin, Delanie married Jesse G. Burt.
Her sister Emeline Thomas, married Lemuel Perry. He was married shortly before his marriage to Emeline. He and his 1st wife, Ann Brantley had one son, Joseph Kirk Perry. I think she died in childbirth or shortly after. Emeline Thomas was only married once and she is buried at Cameron Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Cameron, Moore County, NC.
You can find Emeline, her spouse, Lemuel M. Perry and son Hume buried there.
She also had a daugher, Laney Perry (Delaney Ann}
Keep searching....
