I would rather email you a copy, either reduced in size or original size if you have a photo processing program that can reduce it. The original file is about 18 mb. Whatever, I will work with you to get what you need. I will need an email address as well.

I'm sorry, but I can't link a parent to the child. The link has to be from the child to the parent. You will need to contact whoever controls the daughter's memorial to link them together.

I don't have any info on Verle Pruss. Is it possible that she's still alive. She was probably born about 1920 or so.

I have photographed ALL of Sherman Co, and all are on Find A Grave - I have researched the family and see he was b.~1918 but cannot find anything after 1930 for him...what do you know about him, when did he die? and his siblings? I am linking everybody in Sherman Co - have done all the smaller cemeteries, working on Evergreen now, then just have St Josaphats and Litchfield to go!!! HUGE project!!! I found Edwin and James buried in same cemetery as their father, and Robert (your memorial) in NJ - Gertrude Madeline married Arthur Parker, but later in life, so was she married earlier? if so, to whom, where buried?? that leaves Leonard A (1920-2011 WA??), Evelyn (b.~1923) m. Unknown Hamilton, Theodore (b.~1925, still alive?) - anyone else??? was James her last child?? what a sad story!!! I see that Theo., Robt., James, went to an orphanage in Lincoln and some of the older siblings moved there...HELP!!!!!! :) k

You're welcome! I added the birth date. I plan to visit the cemetery for a gravestone photo but probably not until spring.

Here's the memorial number: 122574695.

He's listed under "Alex" not "Alexander" since that's how he's listed in the cemetery records.

Let me know if you'd like a transfer.

There is no death year on his side. Since he is not listed as deceased I cannot post a picture of that side.

RE: MCavin
Hello P. Mazankowski,

You were asking me if George Samuel McAvin is buried next to Eleanor McAvin. I took the photo for Eleanor in 2009. At that I did not see a marker for George. You could contact the cemetery and maybe they may have the answer to you question.

I don't know if there is a marker for Alex but his obit says that he was buried in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. The Catholic Cemeterys of the Archdiocese of Omaha web site has his DOD as
9-23-1956 and in Section 3, Block 13, Row East, Lot 0, Space 24.

Emma was also there and I have updated her memorial. The pictures that I put up on the website are a standard size so they will load and open easily. Double click on the image and it becomes larger.

I haven't forgotten; just been busy with life. The library was closed for a few weeks. It has re-opened. It will be a bit of time before I can get back there to do some researching. Thanks for inquiring, I have been known to be forgetful now and then. Blessings to you and yours, Mary

I cleaned the photo up using Photoshop, I think this looks good, the marble has its black spots, but this is what it looks like.
