RE: Sussanah Tedder Richardson
Hi Mary Ann,

I got the information regarding your Great Aunt from the internet.. Don't know if we are related, but we might be...There is a John Wesley Tedder in my husband's family, however, he was born and died in Georgia. He was descended from Benjamin Tedder. Anyway, we're all family in the end. I will remove the info from her site if you prefer...Just let us know...

RE: Photos of Carpenter and Ham
You are very welcome! My husband's grandparents and other realives are buried there...we took pictures of every stone that was there. I love history and the pictures tell a story with the kinds of stones they picked and what they put on them. That cemetery had a lot of very large stones.

RE: Photo of Johnson & Mecy Ball
Hi Mary Ann,
Johnse & Mecy's son, Carl, married Mamie Sheets, my paternal grandmother's sister.
They named one of their daughters after Mecy...Mecy Ilean Ball Howell.
Half of their children (3 of 6)are now deceased...Ilean, Elsie, and Charles. Ray, Kyle, and Joe are still living, all in Ashe County, NC.
Also, please note that Mecy & Johnse are buried in the Joshua Ham Family Cemetery. I think there is some work going on to sort out the different Ham Cemeteries in Ashe.
Nice to hear from you! :)

RE: New Photos in Jonathan Perry Cemetery
Mary Ann,
I went in and posted the ones that I knew were definitely husband and wife. It was a challenge on some of them, but I will see if I can do the rest too. Will still talk to Haskell if you need me to. Take care, and stay safe,

RE: Photo of Eve Blevins stone
Mary Ann,
Not a problem. I got a picture of each headstone that I could read and will be posting those. If you need any others please let me know. And I agree you, it is so beautiful and peaceful there. We love going there to visit my husband's family. You can just unwind and slow down. Thise trip was kind of challenging though because I was just put into a walking boot on Thursday and we left to go down on Sunday. Quite an experience to say the least.

Take care,

Charlie Weaver

RE: Eranda Chappell
You are right, sorry. Eranda Chappell was also from NC. She was married to my great grandfather Terrell Covington. She did have a sister named Rhoda but is a different one then your ggrandmother. I am sure they are related somehow. Eranda's father was Britten Chappell from NC also. A lot of the Covington's were from NC too. I also have Talbots in my lineage. Thank you for writing me back, I appreciate it very much. Sometimes I get ahead of myself:-). Have a nice day! Linda

Hello Mary Ann,

Thank you for the very nice photo for Nikolas. I also appreciate the text in the description.

From your photo, I bet I could go to this cemtery and find that location, I have never been there before - I'd have to locate the cemetery first!

Welcome to Find A Grave, you will love it!
And thank you again for becoming a Find A Grave volunteer.

Tedder Family
Glad I could help! I also added some photos of markers for infant Tedder children. Maybe there are relatives you didn't have in your records? There's one more that I have to add, but I have to double check a point at the cemetery.
