Hello Dana, may I ask your relationship with this child? You placed an image there on 21 Oct. This Coke family is a complex and mysterious branch of mine (some descendants of this child's older brother are known to me, but the family is even more mysterious to them ;) ), and I would be beyond thrilled to meet someone related to them.

Holy Cross is an old cemetery and unfortunately some records were lost. I'm happy that I was able to photograph Josephine's Catt monument for you.

Thanks for the pointer. I found and uploaded the photo.
BTW, last week I tried to send you an edit for Elizabeth Ann Tillis, #137469989. It's not displaying in my edits, so I can't tell if it reached you. There are two Rocky Mount Baptist cemeteries in Alabama, and her husband says she's buried in the one close to our home in Tallapoosa county, not the one in Talladega county.

We might have a problem finding Laborn Robinson's headstone. I thought I photographed the entire Mount Sinai Baptist Church cemetery, but I can't find anything with his name. Sometime this weekend I'll get my photos posted so you can see what I've got.

Hay again Dana, are you from the Anniston area ? I may have already gave you these names, if so, just throw em out. My Dad was John F Cook, his dad, Arthur E Cook, his Dad, John Jasper cook, and then our brick wall was William Cook and I have his wife as Elizabeth Smith. If any of these names ring a bell, shout back, if not....oh well.

Dana, thanks for the info. I looked at George w cook, but haven't been able to connect so far. I told my sisters I always heard back in old times, when they stole, they made them change their name. Heck, Jesse and Frank may have been my cuz. Again thanks

Dana, there is one William Cook that I have found. George W. Cook, who was our third great grandfather, had one son named William Edward Cook b.1832 d.1908 in Laurens County, SC. His wife was Martha Elizabeth Franks. Hope this info helps.
