April Diane Owensby Holton
Hi Dana,
Could you please remove correct the maiden name on April. Her maiden name doesn't have an s in it. It was Owenby. I don't know if you add obituaries or not, but I have included the obituaries here if you want to add them. This is all so heartbreaking for the whole town of Eclectic. Everyone knew them and it is hard to comprehend why this had to happen to such a great couple who loved people as much as the people loved them.

Leach memorial #96745609
Hi. I can't really make out the name on your Leach memorial #96745609, but do you think it says C.L. Leach.? I ask because I think this may be Calvin Luther Leach. The date of death matches up with a death certificate I found.

Thank you so much. As I have been working on my ancestry I come to appreciate the work that others are doing on Findagrave. Yes I am related. My great grandmother was sent by the German Society to work for a rural couple in Saskatchewan, Canada in the mid 1890's and died in 1940. We had very little information about her, but since I began it has grown in to the 1,000's all over the USA. I have met so many wonderful people/family in my journey.

Once again, thank you so much
Marlene

Dovie C Eason Kerlin is married to Harvey James kerlin Find A Grave Memorial# 163585627. Which is correct but there appears to be two Find A Grave's for Dovie.

Now what is rather odd is her Alabama Death date is March 19, 1960 and the headstone clearly shows March 19, 1980.

I a relative from Canada doing my ancestry that truly appreciates the work done on Find A Grave. So I am going to attach my findings to see if you can determine her actual death year.

When I enter the memorial number, Arnita Goggans Kelley's memorial shows up. But when I search through the cemetery, all I see is the duplicate. Do you have any idea why this is happening? I haven't seen it before.

Another Coosa Co, AL cemetery
Dana, do you locate cemeteries by county? I ask because today I found another Coosa County cemetery that FindAGrave has listed in Tallapoosa county--no surprise, since these are all just a few miles across the county line. I'm always afraid that if I request a merger, you won't be able to find the cemeteries anymore.

This time it's http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gsr&GScid=2480024, with a correct map but an incorrect county listed and http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=cr&GRid=150071451&CRid=2552071& with no map but the correct county. I'll delete all of my duplicates once the merger is complete.

New Style Baptist Church
I've requested a merge of
http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=cr&CRid=2469757
into http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=cr&CRid=2617888
New Style Missionary Baptist Church is located in Nixburg, Coosa County, Alabama, though the obituaries imply it's in Alexander City, Tallapoosa County.

I'll take down my duplicate memorials this weekend, once the merge is complete.

Family
Hi, Dana.

I was searching the Internet learning about my paternal great grandparents (Fletcher and Minnie Garrett) and came across your name on a page for Lila Ferguson who was my grandfathers (Jim Garrett) sister. I had not heard the story of Lila having a daughter and was touched. So I guess that means we are distantly related and I'd love to hear from you and learn more from you!

My mom is Jennifer Mae Garrett Hart and she died in 2001 and I see that you maintain the page on this site for her. Thank you.

T Todd has a photo of Tom Burton. Can you fix that? I am hoping you might have the right photo for Talmadge Todd who was the husband of Vera Harper Todd, but this isn't it. This is in the Alexander City Cemetery. Your help appreciated!

Name typo
Dana,
Just wanted to let you know you have a typo on the name in Find A Grave Memorial# 88632602. It says "Gavin Albert Culp" but the headstone (and other sources) says "Garvin Albert Culp".
Thanks.
