Walter R Cuzick's father
Butch,
I always verify 'Edits' that come to me. When researching your request to link Walter to his parents I noticed that his siblings are shown with his mother but not his father #120120020. They are linked to memorial #5969249 Walter CuSick (not CuZick). An obvious typo.
Technically, by Find A Grave's rules, the first memorial created (by date) has the priority over later memorials.
Would you like to contact the contributor of #5969249?
Let me know how you would like to proceed.
Thanks.
Ann

Thanks for your time and diligence toward improving Troy's memorial by linking him to his parents. This, along with all your other efforts are most appreciated.

You posted a nice photo of him on my memorial, but I learned mine is a duplicate, so am deleting it. Will you please post this same photo on memorial 146250695?
Thanks,

Permission to use photos
I'm using Ancestry.com and Family Tree Maker to work on my genealogy and would like your permission to use your photos found on findagrave.com:

As an example, the photo from this memorial is one I'd like to use - I expect there will be more coming later:

I will give you (via your user name and number) and FindAGrave credit when used.

Evansville
I don't know where "town" was. My uncle lived on 59, I guess it was north of town. There was a field across the road and that was Okla. My cousin Harold Brown had as store and gas station there in the 90's. There was a road going past his house to the Academy Cem. Mom said a Goldman built that house. The walls were very thick so I guess it will be there for a while. Mom and I went to Seattle many years ago to see a Goldman cousin. He had left home when he was about 13 years old, had a step mother he thought was mean to him. I used to go to the Brown reunions in Stilwell. Don't know if they still have them. It's good hearing from you. Yes, I'm the oldest girl. There are 6 kids younger than me. Three in Wash. sister in Oregon and 2 brothers here...in Michigan. I never thought I'd like Michigan but I just got back from NY and decided I'm very happy to live here and not in some big city. JOAN

RE: Goldman
Did some of your family in Evansville build and live in a stone house almost across the road from the little store and gas station? My Collins uncle lived there for years until he died. Don't know who owns the house now. Think it went to cousin Lloyd Tibbit but he died a few years ago. I remember Mom talking about Lum Goldman. I went to school in Natural Dam, then to Cedarville. I thought there was a Floyd or Lloyd Goldman that I went to school with. Our family moved to Wash. in 1952. Where do you live now? Cousin JOAN

Thanks for the info! I will update the memorials. I did notice that WWII reference and his age, and wondered what he was doing at that age in the service. I am sure there was something important, or they would not have taken him. Quite the mystery to puzzle over ...

Thank you so much for the picture. I knew there was one but the relative would not send as didn't like him. So much for history. Where did you get it may I ask.

RE: Thanks
Hi Butch,

You are quite welcome. I transcribed and photographed the entire cemetery several years ago and return periodically for updates. Find-a-Grave makes it very easy to post bulk memorials but photos must be posted one at a time... Needless to say, I haven't been so quick to get them all uploaded.

Nonetheless, should you have any additional photos you'd like or wish me to search a particular surname in that cemetery, PLEASE don't hesitate to holler.

Happy Researching!

KC
