Benson A Sellers
Hi Bob,
I was wondering about the picture you put on Benson A Sellers Find A Grave # 91286492, at Demorest Cemetery in Akron, Tuscola, Michigan. Are you the original owner of that picture? Where did it come from, and do you have any more? Do you have more info on his family?
Thanks Deb

Mattie Findlay
Hi Bob-
I have a photo that might be George & Mattie (Gardner) Findlay. I was wondering if I could e-mail it to you and see if you could tell if it was them or not, if you know what they looked like well enough. If you think you could recognize them in a photo, then give me your e-mail & I can send it to ya. Thanks!

RE: George & Mattie Findlay
Yes, my family is from the thumb area. I lived in Vassar for a while when I was little. The Riley's that are in Caro are distant cousins I think. My direct family is from Mayville since the last 2 generations, and then before that my Great Grandfather & his ancestors lived in Caro.

George & Mattie Findlay

I saw a post made by you saying that George & Mattie were your Great Aunt & Uncle. My great grandmother was Evelyn (Findlay) Chrisman. I have a photo of them at a family get-together, along with the names of everyone there on the backside of the photo. I'm not sure who wrote the names on the back, but they are a little confusing. I know who most are, but it seems there are a few extra names than people in the photo. If you'd like to see the photo, I'd be glad to email you a scanned copy along with all of the names.

RE: cramer family
I am not related to the Cramer family. If there are any memorials that you would like, just request with the edit tab, and I will transfer to you.

Adella Beach Gardner
My wife's greatmother is Carrie Beach Smith one of Adella's sisters. Do you have any photographs of Adella's siblings? We sadly do not and all of our immediate family members who might have some are no longer alive.

Gardner memorials
I have transferred all of my Gardner memorials At Brookside Cemetery to you. Since you are a family member, you should be able to add a lot of valuable information. Take good care of what's there, and have fun adding to it!
I was sorry to hear of your brother Roger's death, and you have my sincere sympathy. Roger was a classmate of mine, and I remember him as a fine, fun-loving person.

Emma Cramer
Emma is my grandmother. My father was Clinton Whalen. I don't have a picture of Christopher or Mary Ann. I do have a picture of your Charles Cramer taken at the Murday reunion in 1912. I also have a picture of Emma with her brother - I just don't know which brother. I also have pictures of older Emma taken with unknown women that I guess might be her sisters.
Send me your e-mail or contact me at and I'll send what ever you would like.

Hi Bob,
Thank you for adding the Frank Crosby photo. Are you related to Frank? I was just wondering since you had a photo of him.

Thank you

Gardner pictures
Thanks for re-doing the Gardner pictures. The icons are perfect now, and the pictures are great additions to the memorials.

Thank you for adding the lovely photos of William, Adella, and Ray Gardner to their memorials. It gives the memorials a personal touch if a family photo can be included, so I really appreciate your contribution.
I have a big request for you, however; when you added the photos you added them as grave photos, so the photo icon that shows up after their names is a grave icon instead of a person/family icon.
In order to change the grave photo icon to a person/family icon, could you please remove the photos and then add them again, being careful to first use the pull-down menu next to "Type of Photo" and choose "Family" or "Person"? Then the correct icon will appear next to the persons' names in the Find A Grave index.
Still another request--Could you please add the photo that you used for Ray W. Gardner to the memorial for his wife Jennie M. (Sellers) Gardner?
I will repeat my requests for a grave photo for each of these memorials.
Sorry for the inconvenience, and thank you in advance.

Christopher Cramer transfer
I have transferred the Christopher Cramer memorial and that of his wife to you. Just for the record in case you ask contributors for transfers in the future, your ID number is #47731877. The number is beside your name on your profile page where you find your messages. You gave me the incorrect number, but I caught it in time and looked yours up. If I hadn't caught it, the transfer would have gone to someone else with the number you gave me! ;)
