RE: EJ Green
Death certificate will tell you the name of the Cemetery he is buried in.

Surely you didn't know that duplicates are not allowed. Duplicate messages are sent first to the contributor and then passed on to the admins for removal.
Why are there multiple memorials for the same individual? How does Find A Grave handle duplicate memorials?
Because so many people add data to Find A Grave, there are often duplicate cemeteries and duplicate memorials added. This is a very common situation and is quite difficult to resolve in a way that keeps everyone happy. Before adding a memorial, you should search the cemetery to see if a record with that name has already been added. If you find a memorial has been added but has incomplete or incorrect information, instead of creating a duplicate memorial you should use the tools provided to submit corrections, additions or a transfer request via the "Suggest A Correction" link under the 'Edit' tab on the upper right of the memorial. You should never deliberately create a duplicate memorial. In regard to duplicates, a memorial with a correct known burial location will always be preferred over an unknown burial location. If a case of duplicate memorials falls to the Administration, the Administration will have the final word on which memorial is deleted and which data will be retained in the remaining memorial page. There are some situations where an individual (usually a 'famous' individual) may have more than one memorial page, because their body was buried in one location but a cenotaph or second marker/memorial was also placed in a second location

I got by the cemetery again today and looked for Dora McManus. I don't see her grave there. S. H. McManus Jr is to the left of S. H. Sr's grave. There's not a McManus grave to the right of Sr's or left of Jr's. The other side of S. H. Sr's stone is blank.

I'm so sorry I couldn't find it! If you should find out more information about Dora, I would be happy to help if I possibly can!

RE: hello
Harvey & Sarah Taylor McManus are not the parents of S.H. McManus who is in the Weddington cemetery. Henry Jackson & Mary Ritch McManus is the father of S.H. McManus. Henry Jackson & Harvey Leander McManus are brothers. My line is from Harvey. We can discuss this further when you call me. I will be busy during the day on Saturday. Better to call me in late evening.

Annie Green
In looking at the cememtery card for Annie's lot, I misread the O S Clark. It is for another person on the card, yet it was right next to her information.

I am not sure if David was her husband or not. The cememtery card shows she was Nee Mr O S Clark. Her death cerificate doesn't sate anything nor does David's. Sorry I couldn't have been of more help.

RE: hello
I am excited about meeting someone in this line of Henry Jackson McManus. So your grandmother, Mary Blanche McManus and my father were 2nd cousins. I have been researching family history for over 20 years, back before computers when it took a great deal of time and work to get the information. I will be happy to share with you but hopefully you can share some information I would like to have as well on Henry J.'s family. I have found them hard to find. You can call me at 704-843-3520 or email me at and we can talk more about what you have and don't have. I live in the Weddington-Waxhaw area. Also, I would love to have some photos in Henry J.'s family if you have any or know who might have some. I am home most evenings except Thursdays. I look forward to hearing from you!
