RE: William & James Bevel
Come to think of it, the marker for James Bevel says "in memory of" so I don't know if he's buried there or if he's buried in Mississippi.

Well, I'm not from Hoover anymore but the next chance I get I'll go by the church and photograph the placements of the markers. There is a book about Hoover. I don't know exactly where you could get a copy but maybe your local bookstore could order one for you. Here is their website.

RE: Joshua T & Mary Bristow
Hi, we need to "talk" before you place a stone for Mary Kavanaugh Bristow. She is living in the 1900 census with her son (my ancestor) "Sam H Bristo" in Bell Co. TX. She is listed as "mother" age 79, b. Jan 1821. This Mary can't be his mother-in-law since (wife) Emily's mother was Rebecca A. (King) Beshears, b.1825.
I have seen the Bertha Amerson Bristow book that gives the death date of 1895 for Mary, but she doesn't cite any source for the info. Does your side of the family have any proof that she died in 1895-Bible record or something like that? I surely would like to see it. Can you write me at my email address (given on my page at findagrave)? I've hoped for years to find someone from your side of the family to correspond with. Sharon
