Elizabeth Martin Sears
I have been doing research on my tree which is the Allen line. It lead me to Elizabeth Martin which who was born Elizabeth Martin, 29 Mar 1787 at Surry Co., NC. Which lead me to Salathiel Martin's gravesite page and observed that it has Elizabeth Martin Sears listed as the daughter.

The information on Salathiel Martin's family bible states Elizabeth Martin born March 29, 17??

So how can your Elizabeth Martin Sears be related to Salathiel Martin when yours was born Sep. 15, 1795 Surry County North Carolina, USA?

RE: George & Karoline Becker
James,

I am not related to this memorial and most of my research hasn't turned up any parents or siblings for George. I could not locate an obituary; only estate notifications. Census records are also largely unhelpful, other than his immigration year and children. Sorry I couldn't find more.

RE: M Shelton at Little Shoal
James,

There is a lot of damaged stones at Little Shoal. A lot of vandalism and some nature.. Sadly we have about 50 photos of stones that are illegible.

James,

Went back to the cemetery and double checked. The name is Marimon Shelton and the DOD is March 5, 1825. That is somewhat hard to read, but discernible on the stone.. The age portion we couldn't make out. Hope it helps.

I do have a couple more photos of the stone, they might be a bit better to read, if you want..

AMB,
Robert

RE: Agna Sears Hall Photo
James, I have the book name under the photo but to save you time of going back the picture is from the book "Loup County Centennial" (1983). I hope this helps!
Thanks,
Michelle

Re: Fremont Cemetery
James, I am unaware of a cemetery map but would bet the 2 photographers are wisest in this subject. Click on their names and you'll link right to them.

Kindest Regards,
Carla

Re: Adelia Baker
Hi James. Please see new note on Adelia's memorial. One of us should post Ordie since we know he's there now. Was he Adelia's husband?

RE: Becker?
No, I am not related but my spouse has a very distant relation to the Becker's.
