I've added the info you provided for Marvin Hart. If he happens to be related to you, please let me know if you'd like for me to transfer management of the memorial to you.

You will need to link the parents. I cannot edit your memorial.

These individuals are not relatives of mine. I was there filling a photo request and photographed these individuals because I was near. If they are relatives of your please let me know. I am also willing to transfer memorials that are not direct relation to me.

Thank you!

Grave for Benedict Francis "Frank" Wheatley

My great great grandfather is Benedict Francis "Frank" Wheatley for you have the memorial (thank you for that). My parents went to the cemetery but were unable to find the grave? They found the other Wheatley's and a few unmarked graves. Do you know for sure that it is there? I did see his obituary and saw how you got the connection to Holy Trinity Church. I'm just wondering if you were able to confirm that he is buried there. I have also emailed the diocese to ask if they have records. If I find anything, I will be sure to share.

Thank you so much for all of the work you have done. I do appreciate it!

RE: Billly Pearson
Thank you for the information. I have made the corrections you suggested.

My interest in Bloom Riddle Cemetery stems from my grandfathers family, the Goelzer's. He grew up in the Alton area. His family had a large farm down by the river that was partially in each of the two counties Crawford and Perry. Had my grandfather had his way it would still be in the family, but my great-uncle decided otherwise and it was sold.

I recently tried finding the farm after my grandfathers death, but things had changed too much due to logging that I was unable to locate it. Many found memories of visiting there with my grandfather long after it had been sold. The house he grew up in stood until just a few years ago.

If there are family members for which I have made memorials that you would like to maintain please let me know. I am not in the habit of hoarding memorials of others family members.

Thank you!

I don't live in Kentucky, but my Barnes branch came to Meade County from Nelson County. Click on Joshua Sprinkle's father. The contributor for his page is someone with the last name Sopp. She might be able to tell you something about the Sprinkle family.

Let me know if you want any of my Sprinkle memorials transfered to you. I believe these belong in the hands of family members. Please use the edit button on each memorial so I won't have to hunt.

Got your messages about your fathers Find A Grave memorial page. It's certainly my pleasure to be able to provide pictures for Thomas Patrick and Josephine Wheatley's memorial profiles. I received an email photo request from Dianna B. through Find a Grave. I live very close to Mt. Tabor Cemetery. I accepted and fulfilled the request. I always take a lot of photos and I usually stay a short while to visit. You should know that I have 26 additional photos. I will gladly send them to your email if you'd like to have them...Wendy

John & Sarah Wheatley
Just got around to responding to the messages you left on my bio page and I have completed the memorials for John & Sarah which provide more information than previously. I did not see their tombstones when I was there in 1996 & 2003 but they were there in 1976 which I explain on the memorials. But were in very bad shape. But I have added the full inscription as is shown in the reference I mention on the memorials. I known of no specific Wheatley family web site. Wheatley is a colatteral line which I research and follow thru with when it connects with one of my direct lines of descent.

If you can't find someone, try Facebook. If they're not in there, themselves, someone in their circle is bound to know someone else, and one thing leads to another. Good luck with that. LS

I do not recall seeing it when we were down there. Will look the next time we are there. Not sure when that will be.

RE: pics of Martin & Opal VanderZanden
Very happy to help. I/We know, from personal experience, what a delight, and relief, it is to finally find family members' graves, after a long, and sometimes seemingly fruitless search.

There are a number of other Vander Zandens in that cemetery; most, if not all, have memorials, but only a few of the memorials have photos. If those others (on the list of "Other Vander Zanden's in Holy Name Cemetery") are related to you, make photo requests for them and we, or someone else, can fulfill them. It's frustrating not to be able to get to the graves, oneself; that is why this (Find A Grave) is such a great service; it blesses both the request-er and the photographer when a request is successfully fulfilled!

I put photos into the memorials of Adrian and Evelyn Vander Zanden, whose grave is just two stones away from Martin and Opal.
