|Lisa Priore-Allan||Alice (Sears) Brooks|
I ran across your message asking me why I haven't added my grandmother's parents yet. It's been years since I've been on here for one. And two, the email address that my account is under is long gone and I cannot recall the password. So, I'm starting over. Anyway, Alice Celia Sears Brooks is the 34th child born to Joseph W. Sears of Dedham, MA. Her mother was Marie Rosalie Chamberlain. My mother is named after her... so my grandmother thought! My mom is Rosalie Marie but Nana said she didn't realize to later in life that her mother was really Marie Rosalie though people did call her Rose or Rosalie.

I did not save your request so would you resend the information you want added about his mother who is buried in an unknown place.

You wrote me today
"Why wasn't parents added as requested???????????"
Because I have 30 days to do SACs, per the FAQ, and you originally wrote me on the 6th. That's nine days, not 30.
Please refrain from further such notes to me or others and even after 30 days, the process is to send a request to edit@, not to write such things to fellow contributors.
Thanking you in advance --

I just got your message about her parents and the birth / death dates.
Sorry it's taken me so long to get back to you.
The dates are coming from their headstone photos.
Granville is Granville County, NC ... not WV. The Ancestry millennium files seem to often make those kind of mistakes.
As for her being buried in Wilson County, TN ... that appears to be a different Priscilla Harris (Priscilla Harris Clifton Tucker) # 90398725, wife of George Tucker.
Let me know if that explains it ... or if you have any other questions / concerns about the page, links, etc.

I found your posting on a site that I too am frustrated with. I send a message to "email@example.com" with my problem, and they get it resolved usually within a week. In your case, I would ask for a transfer of the site that you are having a problem with because it is family. Good luck. Lisa

Hi, Eddie, happy new year! I'd promised you back last fall that once the leaves were off the trees I'd get a photo of Phillip Lindsey Hoyte Jr's marker (memorial #85053619) in full sun. Done! A new family plot photo on his memorial, too. Just that, nothing more exciting.

|Harriet W. Berry||RE: Hettie B Hall (and Sneeds)|
You're very welcome, Eddie. Am happy to have found the family. Unfortunately, the only folks with markers in the Sneed plot were your Mrs. Hall plus the three I added (son Richard and family). I did see your Harris tree on Ancestry.com when trying to identify them, so will consult it while looking for Albert Sneed. It's also possible that he may not have a marker.
There are at least two large Hoyte family groups at Mt Olivet, and will be glad to check those for you on my next visit, assuming another volunteer doesn't find your fellow before then. Good luck in getting all of your folks located and memorials connected, that's a fine effort! --Harriet

I really don't know. I am not related to her. I just uploaded the cemetery to findagrave. If you find that she is family, I will transfer her to you.

You are welcome. You probably have the same grandfather as my husband. Philip Crume? He was a Rev. War Patriot and I took some photos of his gravestone......both the new gravestone and the old one that cannot be read any more.
Glad you enjoy. Mary Pool

|Bobby Hunt||Eastern photo request - Crume|
Hi. There is no range above 48 in Section 2 of Eastern Cemetery; Section 2 is one of the areas that has been destroyed, re-used and has been re-designated approximately 5 times, which means there is a good possibility there are at least five people in one grave.
Would love to provide a photo of the marker, but there is none.

I have updated the Find a grave and will be updating my own info. Thanks for your imput. We are cousins of sorts... just have to figure out how... lol
