RE: Edit
not a problem...will do the same. Am researching the Nunn's, William I and Francis II, for our best friends who hale from Trigg Co. KY. He found a document someone wrote about these Nunn's in Craven NC where I grew up and am currently living after a time in KY/IN. There is mention of Lindsey I Nunn coming to Trigg Co. from VA. He is Fred's gggrandfather. I am trying to find the thread that connects the two. These intertwined families are complicated. I am just the 3rd generation in America. My Polish/Ukrainian family was too easy. I just want these memorials to be as correct as they can be and feel families need to be linked. And if there is pertinent info or a story, it should be else will we know who they were?? These folks STRUGGLED every day of their lives!! Off the soap box! Thx for the message.

Hope you have a blessed day..

RE: Cain and Crenshaw Cemeteries
Thank you so much! I am pretty sure this is him,but this just opens the door to more mysteries! It is a strange place for him to be buried! I wonder if there are any burial records available any where?
Anyway this information means a lot and I really appreciate what you are doing.

Memorial deleted
I am not attached to it, and it's just easier for me to delete mine instead of asking Joyce to delete hers. Thanks for letting me know :)

Brandy, thanks for the heads up on the name mistake. It should be fixed now!

Find A Grave needs to be more responsive in problems pointed out to them. I'm sure part of it is copyright problems in there eyes but if they c an't find a way around error corrections as you point out, they should take down the site itself. As you know from genealogy info, wrong info is as bad if not worse than no info. I asked for a cemetery be added to there database because while loooking for a grave a while back I cam across a cemetery and according to the names on the stones none of them have found their way to a cemetery listing and is not in the Cadiz/Trigg County cemetery book either. The cemetery name however has another listing for a cemetery located in the LBL (different cemetery). Their response to me was "are you sure it isn't the same cemetery" and never replied again.

This cemetry I was asking to be added is south of Cadiz off Hwy 139, not even close to the LBL. I gave them the GPS location and everything but still no response.

My wife is home now after three operations totalling about 18 hours, three months in the hospital and several thousand $'s modification to our home so she can at least move around in her wheelchair. She is still paralysied from the waist down, no bladder or bow control. She is getting some feeling back slowly and some movement in her legs. She's in rehab 3 days a week and we are looking at about a 1 to 1 1/2 years of recovery with no idea how much she'll finally get back.

Thanks for the concern and kindness.

We'll make it!!!!!

Okay, requested the photo be deleted. Hopefully the correct one is deleted. Also said, "Not sure I'm liking some of the changes you've made. You're taking away some of the personal interactions among us and the ability to verify requests. It is becoming too impersonal."

Well, I cannot find where I can even ask to delete the erroneous photo! So, why don't you enter a new memorial to replace #50932867 - remembering to save the correct photo to upload to the new memorial. Then send me the new memorial number and I will request removal of #50932867. Seems convoluted, but only way around that I see. Other suggestion?

I don't see where I can delete the photo for NC Magraw that is on the wrong memorial. I'll save it to my computer and reload it to the correct memorial and then see if I can get Find A Grave to delete it from Norris' memorial.

I have absolutely no idea why you received that message!! I did not report your edit request as anything. I usually check the memorial and make sure the request makes sense and then "accept". Don't know. You have 3 choices - accept, decline or ignore! I would assume that, as the correction was made, I accepted. Or, at worse, made the correction while verifying and then ignored. I'm not liking the new edit procedure very much. Sometimes I like to ask the requestor for some verification or backup info and the new system just seems to take that ability away.

Sorry you were upset, but not my doing.

RE: Cain and Crenshaw Cemeteries
Thanks for the directions! Hopefully I will get to go back out there soon. We found the Crenshaw Cemetery hidden under the trees and brush, but could not find the Cain Cemetery.

RE: Cain and Crenshaw Cemeteries
The dates i have are 1795-1864 In Trigg county. But of course the date of death is probably not accurate since no one knows where he is buried? You have me excited! Can't wait to hear your info!

Cain and Crenshaw Cemeteries
Thank you for the work you are doing on these cemeteries. They are my ancestors and I appreciate the updated information. Can you give me directions to the Cain cemetery? I could not find it last time I was in the area.
Also, I am looking for John Greenwade from Cadiz, Trigg, Ky. He was born 1797 and died after the 1860 census. No one knows where he is buried.
Thank you!

dbk still hasn't done anything about it. Hopefully sometime down the road she will be declared inactive and you can get her memorials

Thanks Brandy.

I sent a message to dkb. I also added info to my memorial. Honest mistake since my name had a typo in it, but I have run across of a lot of dupes that dkb has. I sent her a nice note and hopefully she will delete hers. Thanks :)

Thank you for the transfers of Silas, Aice, and Estell Davis; also Mae Saturley. I really appreciate it very much. I am just now able to read all these emails. I've made it from June to late September. WHEW! I work too much. Thanks again. WYNDY

Ralph Tooke in Curling
Hi! I'm a bit behind in my SAC emails (nothing new) - I transferred Ralph (mem# 121426804) to the Curling Cem with Amos Mitchell. If I'm not right still, send me another SAC - I'll try to remember to look for his name in newer emails so it won't take another couple weeks. Thanks!

RE: Stewarts
Thnx so much. These are the amazing moments in genealogy! Martha & Linn Stewart took in Martha's niece & nephews when her bro & sis in law died. That niece was my husbands grandmother (Lucy A Koon) his mother's mother.
Nelson & Eunice Stewart took in Eunice's nephew when her bro died leaving 10 children with his widow. That nephew was my husbands father.
I have a photo of the Stewart family with a lot of the names. You can copy it from my tree on Ancestry. My tree is stevensoncartergriffinkoon
Thnx again

Brandy, I live in Hopkinsville. My husbands family tree actually has Stewarts in it twice. I'd love to know if the two are related. There's Lynne BOYD Stewart (1858-1934) & Martha KOON Stewart (1854-1920). And there's Nelson Owen Stewart (1884-1967) & Eunice CARTER Stewart (1884-1972). I have a large group photo from the Lynne BOYD Stewart family, but don't have any names.
