I don't have your yahoo email address . . . tho' no sense in trying to communicate by email . . . ever since the SCAM I'm not able to get email at my aol address and at least one family member has told me that I might pass the virus on if I communicate thru my current email address (when it works!!) . . . still fighting some kind of virus on my laptop . . . whoever sent that scam message has really messed up my system.
Thanks for thinking of me! I need all the positive thoughts I can get these days! Ann

|Ann Koch||you asked me to contact you|
Hi! if you received an email re. my ALLEGED difficulties in the Philippines (mugged, etc), it's a scam . . . not one word of that message is true. I've been getting calls and emails for almost a week regarding this. Someone hacked into my email address book, so everyone listed there got the scam message. Also think that I may have gotten a bug in my computer that is slowing down internet usage. Very upsetting! ann

I do very little with Anonymous contributors unless they provide documented sources. I decline the transfer to you for yet another reason: you went ahead and created a dup and that is not how Find A Grave works. You have been a contributor long enough to know better AND to have the courtesy to ask for the transfer with manners.

The memorials # 21082892, 21082879, 21082864 are currently being maintained by yourself. I was the initiator and will remain so and you are the maintainer which I thought was what you desired. If I can be of further assistance please contact me again.
Thank you, Harold Alsop.

The identity of the three in the photo that I know
for certain are: William Riley Craig seated in the very center in the biggest chair. The lady in the black dress in the center with her hand on her husband's shoulder is Nancy Ann Griggs Craig. And her husband seated below is Francis Marion Craig. The others are the children of William Riley Craig and their spouses but which one is which I am not certain.

Thanks for your kind thoughts. I was fortunate to have lots of help and encouragement from my "kids" (in their 40's now) and an older brother when I was first learning the computer and dealing with the internet. I'm happy to pass on some of those skills to folks like you.
Don't hesitate to contact me if you have further questions. Ann

|Ann Koch||RE: Ellis and Ritter|
I'm sorry to tell you that once ANYTHING is put anywhere on the internet, it is automatically sucked up into the "black hole" of cyberspace by the millions of search engines in use these days. If you really don't want the information you posted to findagrave to find its way into the public realm, then I'm afraid you'll simply have to delete your listings. But then you will lose the opportunity to find family history information such as you and I have shared recently. It's a "damned if you do....damned if you don't" dilemma of our modern times. Ann

|Ann Koch||Ellis and Ritter|
Hello, again. You asked what other nearby cemeteries might have an Ellis or a Ritter buried there. The way to see at a glance how many Ellis folks might be buried in the vicinity, here's what you do.
1. When you have the listing for P. A. Ellis (for example) open on your screen, look over to the upper left where there is a side screen showing (1) Ellis in American Legion (2) Ellis in Snohomish county. If you click on Snohomish county, a new screen opens up showing all the persons named Ellis who are buried in Snohomish county. Then do the same with the name Ritter when you have a Ritter screen open in front of you.
Then check the names listed to see if any of them might be connected to your family. If you think they might be buried somewhere outside of Snohomish county, then you click on Washington in that upper left column. Make sense?
By the way, were you the person who asked me to check the original photo I took of a headstone where the top part was cut off because you wanted to know what that was on top of the headstone? just wondered because I'd told the person I would try to find the headstone again but now can't remember who it was.....darn but getting old (70) and losing one's memory is a real bummer. |Ann Koch||American Legion Cemetery|
Hello, can you refresh my memory re. the name of the person buried at the American Legion Cemetery. I've had some luck contacting the caretaker of that cemetery via the phone number posted on the sign at the cemetery's entryway. Did you try that or just write to the address you mentioned. I don't recall that adress info being posted on that sign . . . just a phone number. If you can refresh my memory a bit on the person in question buried there, perhaps I can follow up and see what I can find out. Ann

I rec'd your request for a transfer of these graves, stating your relationship to them.
I'm sorry, but I won't transfer these - Thomas and Eliz. are my ggrandparents and James my gggrandfather.
May I ask from which child of Thomas and Elizabeth's you descend? I have six generations of their descendants - perhaps we could share information?
