|Donna Williams||Martha B Stone Day|
I seen where you have marked Martha B Stone Day as your great great Grandmother. She is also my great great Grandmother. My great grandmother was her daughter Laura Lavisa Stone Jacobs. My name is Donna Williams and I live in Rison, AR.

I noticed you are also interested in the Beffa family. My great-great aunt Hattie Flunker was briefly married to Vincent Beffa. She was his second wife (out of 3) and it was a short marriage.
The story told to me by my mother was that Hattie cheated on him and then they either divorced or annulled. She also said they had a daughter named Patty and that because Hattie cheated, she lost custody.
Do you have any knowledge of this daughter? I've not found a single record to support a birth. I have a photo that might be her. My mother remembers her mother showing her a photo of a child on a pony and saying it was Hattie's daughter Patty. After my grandmother's death, I received some of her old photos. One is a photo of a child on a pony but now my mom cannot remember if it is the correct photo.
I've also not located any more records on Hattie besides the marriage license for her and Vincent. I've found his death certificate.
Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

John Beffa's parents were Alessandro and Mary.
I am thinking all the MO Beffas are related, esp since most of them are in the same cemetery

The links you sent for William's parents have been added. I also gave the owner of his parents' memorials some additional information about them and asked her to link them to their parents, which she did.
You mentioned that you don't know how to add links from children to parents. It's very easy.
The owner of the child's memorial must:
1. Click on the place where it says Link family members.
2. A form will appear with boxes where you enter the Find A Grave memorial number for the father, mother and/or spouse.
3. Then click on Save changes.
Only the owner of the child's memorial can link him/her to the parents.
If you want to link spouses, you follow the same steps as above. Either the owner of the wife or the husband can link spouses.
Thanks again for letting me know who William's parents were.

They are in the same niche as a couple of Watson's so the niche will say Watson. I will get the photo from my home computer and put it on tonight.

I figured out why you got the strange message from Find A Grave. They wouldn't let you put a photo request in today for Mary Mieller because you already had a request on file for her. That's what they meant when they said you could only ask for one picture.

|Lynn||RE: Mary Mieller|
The cemetery photo on Mary Mieller's memorial does not interfere in any way with a photo request. Find A Grave allows you to put 5 photos on her memorial and the cemetery picture does not count as one. I can't imagine why you would have received such a strange message.
In late October of 2011, I indexed ALL headstones at Hardin City Cemetery. I'm sorry to tell you, but there is definitely none for Mary Mieller.
I also checked the newest cemetery book, published by the Calhoun Historical Society last fall, and Mary's name is not listed at Hardin City Cemetery. Are you sure she was buried there?
Also, I saw that you put in a photo request for Joseph Hamilton. If you look at the Note section near the bottom of his memorial, you will see that I had mentioned that there is no readable stone for him either. Quite a few other members of the Hamilton family have stones at Hardin, but not the one you requested.
If you have any other questions, please feel free to let me know.
