|Linda Haynes||RE: Louisa M. Taylor Floyd|
I have been unable to find where Americus is buried. One family story is that she was buried near where they lived at the time, which could have been in Kentucky, near Williamsport, Indiana, or near Winthrop, Indiana. That's yet another mystery I'm trying to track down!
I'm not sure why Thomas Mason's gravestone says he was born in 1879 unless it was a mere mistake. Three year's difference seems to be a big mistake, though, doesn't it? All other accounts of his birth (and of Grandma Eliza's) say 1882.
I would love it if you would transfer Louisa's memorial to me. I'll take good care of her!

Thank you, thank you, thank you for the memorial and write-up you did on Find-A-Grave for Louisa Taylor Floyd (Memorial #153085595). She was my great-great grandmother. Our family knew that she died while giving birth to my great-grandmother, Eliza Floyd Collins and her twin, Thomas Mason, but I don't believe anyone knew where she was buried. Now I have a hint, and I'll try to follow the trail to find the family farm where they lived. The rest of the story is that yes, the twins were raised by their uncle and aunt, and my gr-grandma Eliza named her first two babies after them--my grandfather, John, and his sister, Americus (who died tragically at age 3 or 4 after she fell into the hearth).
There is still an annual family reunion of descendants of Eliza and Thomas, Louisa's twins.
Much gratitude to you for what you do. Thank you again!

Pulaski County KY Jones Surname
I am trying to find my oldest-known grandfather’s grave. I’ll call him “Father Jones”. It is reported that he died in Pulaski County, Kentucky. I cannot find a grave or any records on him. If you have any information on him or know of someone I can contact, please let me know!!
Father Jones had four sons; Alexander, James, Robert, William and Thomas. Thomas was the only one born in Pulaski County around 1800. Father Jones died between Thomas’ birth and the War of 1812. It is stated that Father Jones died prior to his son Robert joining the War of 1812.
Any help that anyone can provide would be GREATLY appreciated!!

Jarrod Ray Mayfield was my son. You have miss spelled his father's name which is Edward Fredrick Mayfield. His twin brother, who is still living is Justin Mayfield. I would be like to be responsible for is memorial and would add many additional relatives if you would transfer the memorial to me.

Thank you so much for going to Square Oak & taking all the memorial photos for me. It's been a while since I've been over there. Because of health reasons, I had been in IN for several months. But, I'm back.

After we have a couple of good hard rains, I'll go back and re-shoot their photos. I had to dig their marker out of the mud with a stick and it looks like it.
