|Kay Kelly||Ezekial Cloud|
So glad you found & posted his history.
I'm just plain Kay as well, and I'm told my grandpa was horrified when he thought my name was to be "K" - "just a letter of the alphabet!"

I am confused (constantly). I can't locate Ezekial in my list of memorials. Would you provide his memorial #. Would like to see the pix and article you mentioned. Thanks,

Do you know who William's parents were?
Added by rhondajo on Feb 28, 2014 5:32 PM
Yes it has been real cold down here the past few days. Today is warmer. Will wait for spring to go grave hunting...

|Grant Rice||RE: Corine Barton Nolan....|
Kay, Corine was the daughter of Dr. William Benjamin Barton, Aunt Todies older brother. Two sons of William David Barton my ggg grandfather were doctors in the Morrow, Forest Park area. Dr. William Benjamin Barton and Dr.James Riley Barton. They either built or had built the two houses next to each other William and his wife had both died William him in 1907 and his wife in 1919. Aunt Todie took William Benjamins house and Corine married Thomas Nolan and lived in the one next door. I think Dr. James Riley built the one Corine lived in. Dr. William Barton is buried with his family in Tanners Baptist Church Cemetery and Dr. James Barton is buried with his wife in Forest Park City Cemetery. I have our whole Barton & Clark History on Ancestry.com with quite a few pictures. Take care and stay healthy. Grant

|Grant Rice||RE: Sallie Barton (Miss Todie)|
HI Kay, Glad you enjoyed the Picture of Aunt Todie. My mother Dorothy Clark was born in 1920. My grandmother and grandfather lived with Aunt Todie for a while. I was born in 1939 and have several pictures of mother and I in the driveway to Aunt Todies house and some in her yard when I was just a year or so old. You may have been there at the same time I was. We think the pencil sketch of her was done around 1900-1910. I have a couple other pictures of her with an unknown gentlemen. Although she never married she did date some when she was younger and mother said she was very pretty. She worked for the J. P. Allen Company for a while and then for a Dentist in Atlanta. - Grant

|~*Debbie*~||RE: Civil War Letters|
My memory from 1995 isn't that good. :) If she sent a copy of the actual letter, it too is buried in a box in my over crowded garage.
The Civil War 1895 reunion photo isn't of just one person, it's a group of old men with long white beards mostly. I've posted it to several memorials of men who were members of that company. You can see it on the memorial for Meriday Crow # 18783539.

I'm guessing William Young & Mary (McMillian) Conine are also your ancestors. Their dau, Nancy Louisa married one of my Burks relatives... Christopher Columbus Burks. Nancy was his first wife and is buried in an unmarked grave at Old Huie. I just found the memorials for Wm & Mary and linked her.

I just saw where you mentioned to Rhonda, Civil War letters written by your gg-gf. Was he James William Conine? I meant to ask you about this last week when we were emailing. If so, I have a copy of one of those letters that Cathy Conine Crossland sent to me in 1995. It was written on 8 Jun 1863 sent to his wife, Catherine Hindman Conine, from Yazoo Co, MS. I don't know what I did with the copy of the letter but I have it transcribed in my PAF notes for Meriday Crow because he mentions him and several other Clayton Co men.
Did you see the photo I posted to several memorials that was labeled "30th GA Regiment Reunion 1895 Butts Co GA"

Or you could contact the owner of the photo and ask them to please transfer it to the correct memorial.

Your name under the photo means that you added it. As long as you give credit in the caption all is good ....

Sorry I am unable to answer that question. I just went to Belleview Cemetery and took tomb stone pics.

Interesting!!! Can't wait to find out what it was.... LOL :)

Yes, it even retains all of the "flowers" that have been posted, and posts them in chronological order. Awesome! It doesn't pay to steal, even on Find A Grave...
She needs to know that it is ok to use my photos, just give me the credit! It is not easy to get out there, especially in the summer when it is in the 90s and humid, taking photos, getting poison oak and ivy, ant bites, sunburn (at my age!), and back aches bending over to get a good shot! Plus, generations from now, if I get a descendant who gets bitten by the genealogy bug, I want them to know that I took that photo, no matter where it is posted. Does that make sense?
Added by rhondajo on Mar 14, 2013 10:32 PM
Concerning the Mary Huie dupe. It is quite unfortunate that Diane keeps using my photos without permission. If she would just give me credit it would actually be ok. She has never asked. This is unfair to me, it is a violation of Find A Grave rules, it is a copyright violation, and it is just plain unethical. Due to the many relationship links, which actually I could have added, I sent an email to Find A Grave admin about it and asked them to merge the two.

Was Jane an infant, or do I need to remove the death date?
Added by rhondajo on Mar 14, 2013 3:10 PM
Was probably my typo.... :)

Yes I do, and added it, thanks.

Something not making sense. Was George Key Mildred's father or was it William Huie? The father's number you sent me was George Key...
Added by rhondajo on Mar 03, 2013 2:10 PM
I added her father and her maiden name, but the number you gave me for the mother was wrong. Can you send it again? Thanks
