RE: DeLong Homerville Ohio
I don't know if "thanks" is deserved. I would hate to get an e-mail regarding this. One cemetery has about 900 memorials and the other over 200. If it is what I think, then FindAGrave needs to merge the two cemeteries and add another "aka cemetery name" to the surviving cemetery. I've run into this a couple of other times and found it difficult to get accomplished.

FindAGrave makes it too easy to add a new cemetery without making sure it doesn't already exists with a different name.

Regarding the photos, you can right click on one of your photos and "Save image as" in a directory on your computer and then do an add photo on the other memorial, select the saved photo and you are done. You can't tell the photos apart. I could do the same thing from my computer, but then you wouldn't get credit for the photo.

Do you think someone stole Ephram's tombstone? The photo was likely taken in 2009 and the t.s. looks like it's just setting on the base and not secured, what a shame.

Regarding the why buried here and not there, remember Ephram died 28 years before Maria Magdalena (Schneck). Thanks for asking that question, because after rereading Ephram's notes. I found that Maria remarried as Polly DeLong to Daniel Poorman. The exact wording is: "Polly DeLong md. 2nd. Daniel Poorman, Medina Co., OH. On 9 May 1857 Monroe Koonz was appointed guardian of Abigail, Elizabeth, Henry, William F. and Hannah." Unfortunately nothing about Poorman on her tombstone.

I have updated Maria's bio. (Memorial# 115632047).

RE: FREED stone at Swan Point II
You are quite welcome. I found an obit for your father and added the info. He sounds like quite an impressive person. I also added new photos for your grandparents, who were nearby. Feel free to use the images in your family albums and such.

William Palmer Force
WP Force, my GGGF's headstone is showing on my GGGGF's burial records. This should be corrected as soon as possible.

Thanks, Bill Palfy (Force)

I believe the headstone photo you provided is the wrong William Force for memorial #17636858. The birth and death dates do not agree with the memorial and the name of the wife does not match. I understand because I am having trouble with conflicting information in this family tree. Thanks, Sandi

Merrimans in Apple Creek
Thank you for looking for me in Apple Creek. I also had a request in for
Elijah Merriman b. 1788, d. 1834
Mary McCoy Merriman b. 1792, d. 1870
They were my 3 x Great Grandparents.

I was very excited to see that someone was able to check the cemetery. I live in Florida so it is impossible for me to go.

Hope to hear from you soon.

Hi :) I just saw your request for Greenleaf relatives in this cemetery. I did a quick search on their website and there are more than 40 with that's the link for the location lookups for the ones you want :). WWW.mount

Group 155 photos. Swan Point
you have my permission to 'right click' and save any of the plot 155 photos I took to copy them to the additional names I found there.
I'll be going back when the weather clears and I can sneak out of work, to take more photos.

I originally offered to relay all 268 requests to the family counselor. :-)
I think when I volunteered to take them for him, and follow all their requests for privacy, it helped. My 30 minute phone call included secretaries, counselors, and the president's secretary, who was relaying everything to her boss.

RE: Swan Point

I spoke to the president's secretary of Swan Point. They were not aware of over 250 requests for photos. Long story short, I have permission to fulfill the current requests. And Swan Point's family counselor will fulfill all future requests for photos.

RE: swan point cemetery
Your map of the 'group' numbers will be a big help!! Thank you. Swan Point cites 'privacy' of the owners as the reason for no photos. Do you find that as humorous as I do? The penalty for getting caught taking photos of gravestones is being thrown out for trespassing. Not a big deal. 'Landscape' photos are allowed, so I can at least get a shot of the monument and overall plot. I'll keep you up to date on my progress.

This cemetery has a no photography rule. Sometime this week I'm going to take a trip there and file for a 'photography permit' IF it is free, using find-a-grave photo requests as permission from descendents. Can you tell me which road your plots are on?

Thank you for trying to find the stone for John Grady. He was an infant at death and maybe the marker is now down. Thank you for your time and attempt. Rosemary

Sorry, I don't know anyone out there. I am in Pennsylvania where Joseph Weaver's first wife is buried. I do hope someone out there will take an interest in this neglected cemetery.

Thank you very much for the photos of Joseph's stone and the cemetery. It looks rather abandoned. Are those listed in this cemetery the only stones remaining there?
