RE: Bartletts in Tewksbury cemetery
Hi ALec,

I've deleted the photos for the 3 Bartletts that you mentioned. I'm uncomfortable copying photos done by others so please just post your photos and there is no need to mention me or anything that I've done.

Clearly, yours were better than mine so they should be the ones for people to enjoy.

Thank you for thinking about me but it's really unnecessary.

Kindest Regards,

Rick Weaver

RE: Maddock - Hamony Grove Cemetery, Portsmouth,NH
Hello Alec,

I am not related to Samuel Maddock and his wife Elizabeth (Keniston) Maddock but am a friend of the family. With my genealogy I enter names close to the spelling of Maddocks since there are various spellings on occasion such as Maddox or Maddix. I however knew Samuel's nephew, Richard Maddock, who is buried in the Maddock plot in Harmony Grove. I also know Richard's sons. From my research of the obituaries for the Maddock family I am not related.

Hello Alec,

Received your message inquiring how I am related to Evelyn Keniston and her husband Samuel B. Maddocks. Could you provide me the link to them, not quite sure who you are referring to at this time.

RE: Teresa Quimby Ash
That would be my mother-her name is also Teresa. She is Teresa Quimby-Ash's oldest daughter and is visiting N.H. from Florida! Uncle Leroy (Quimby) did a family tree book that I think my mother has a copy of. I will see how far back that one goes. Some of the stuff is confusing because the names are different depending on where you look. If I can email you that would be great! Is the email listed on here a good email? Nice to meet you cousin!! Thank you, Terre

Teresa Quimby Ash
Hi Alec. I see you have the Quimby's on your page. I am the grand daughter of Teresa Quimby Ash. I have recently gotten back into my researching the family tree. How are you related to the Quimby's? Acel Sr. was my great-grandfather. I knew him, but unfortunately did not know Eva (Nana)-she passed before I was born. I find this all very interesting and can't wait until I get the hang of it and start going way back. Thanks, Terre

Elizabeth Burke Kousoulas
Hello Alec,

I am sorry that I could not fulfill your photo request for Elizabeth Kousoulas. I went to Edson Cemetery twice to look and could not find a marker for Lot 4 Range 48. I did find out from the cemetery office that the following people are interred in the lot: Elizabeth Burke Kousoulas, Andrew Kousoulas, John Burke, Mary Burke, Joseph Burke and Lillian Burke.

Hi Alec,

I can probably visit Saint Joseph some time next week. It's close to where I work but not to where I live. I assume you're interested in your 2 open Photo Requests???

Girard Family
Alec, You can find copies of death records for Fred & Louise Girard on Louise's record is under the name Mary S. Girard & Fred's record is listed under the name Ferdenand Girard, in order to see the actual copy of his death record you have to be registered & sign in to the site. It's a free site. Type in NH for state of death & 1949 for year of death, the record gives his date of birth & death, place of birth & names of his parents. Diane

Louise Girard
Hi Alec, I have found the headstone for Louise Girard, though her name on the headstone is Mary L. Girard. She is not buried in Calvary Cemetery, she's in Penacook Calvary Cemetery. It's two different cemeteries, very confusing because death records don't seem to differentiate between the two. If you change the memorial to Penacook Calvary I'll post the picture there. Her husband, Fred Girard is also buried there. On the back of the headstone is Perley J. Girard 1906-1906 & Wilfred P. Girard 1897-1967. If you want to post memorials for them I'll post the pictures. I also found headstones in Woodlawn Cemetery in Penacook for Evangelina Young & her husband, Eddie J. Girard & his wife, Vernon P. Girard & his wife. The only one I didn't find was Media Paddleford & I'll check with the cemetery office next week, there is a memorial on Find a Grave for Media, though it's spelled differently. Diane

RE: Henry Warner Downing
Henry W. Downing was born in Ellsworth, New Hampshire. I have no birth record for him. Most early records were destroyed in a fire on or abt. 1970 as told to me by the Town Clerk of Ellsworth. Henry was 1st m. Hattie R. Fifield, 21 July 1879. As far as I could find they had one child, Willis Arthur. Hattie d. 17 Jan. 1894, Woodstock, New Hampshire.
Henry m. 2nd Agnes (listed on marriage record as Agnes Petnew - her 1st m.) on 1 Dec 1896, North Haverhill, Grafton Co., New Hampshire. They had 9 children. I have 4 (1 for Hattie and Warren; 3 for Agnes and Warren)census records and 1 residence (city directory with Agnes). Henry d. 24 Apr 1923, East Andover, Merrimack Co., New Hampshire.

I have yet to search, probate or land records for Henry.

All records were located on Ancestry, Family Search, and at the New Hampshire Archives.

If I can be of any other assistance please let me know.

RE: Roberts
Small world. I thought it was funny to see a picture of my grandfathers, and not know who had posted it. I would actually have to sit down and put it on paper, but I guess that would make us very distant cousins. I only recently found out aunt Hazel had passed. I was looking to contact her, to let her know my Dad had passed... she loved him :) I have such a small family on my Dad's side, would be nice to meet more!
